Thus, what arises is the conventional truth (kun rdzob kyi bden pa, relative truth), which appears like dreams, illusions, and reflections, and possesses the samadhi of illusion (sgyu ma'i ting nge 'dzin, illusory samadhi). By its own nature, it becomes the cause of the four abodes of Brahma (tshangs pa'i gnas bzhi, the four immeasurables: loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity), which is the conventional truth. The order in which these two are interconnected, which is the state where all objects subside into peace, is the samadhi of self-nature in a true manner. Cutting off exaggerations and deprecations, the certainty of the path: The second part is the certainty of the path for cutting off exaggerations and deprecations. Determining through hearing and thinking, cutting off exaggerations and deprecations from the outside, is the common path. Determining through oral instructions, cutting off exaggerations and deprecations from the inside, is the uncommon path. From these aspects, the first point is: 'One should observe,' which is through the means of hearing and thinking. So, what is hearing? For example, the co-emergent (lhan cig skyes pa, innate wisdom) itself is the epitome of this example. Things and non-things become the same, because the dharmas are different. For example, the worldly example is a vase, and what is different in dharma is a flower in the sky, which is the representation of all non-existences. Similarly, what is different from a flower in the sky is a vase, which is the representation of all existences, and these two are examples of mutually different dharmas. Therefore, the difference of annihilation is that it is the existence of all existences, and the difference of permanence is that it is the non-existence of all non-existences. Therefore, as an example that transcends the world, the vase and the flower in the sky become the same, because all dharmas are different. In the conventional realm, these two are not the same, because they contradict each other. What exists does not become non-existent, and what does not exist does not become existent, which is the self-nature of things and non-things. Becoming mind with the characteristic of existence and the characteristic of non-existence, it does not become the characteristic of non-existence and existence, because they are contradictory. Here, emptiness (stong nyid, Sanskrit: śūnyatā, Romanization: shunyata, Chinese: 空性) is the pure mind with the nature of great compassion (snying rje, Sanskrit: karuṇā, Romanization: karuna, Chinese: 慈悲), like Prapabha, it is not the characteristic of form, because there are no particles; nor is it the characteristic of formlessness, because there is form in emptiness. Therefore, conventionality is the form of emptiness, and emptiness is the form of conventionality, because it transcends worldly examples. Whatever mind exists is non-existent, separated from the characteristics of the dharmas of permanence and annihilation, it is the inseparability of emptiness and compassion. This is desire, form, and --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those formless beings do not abide in samsara and nirvana, and they do not abide in samsara and nirvana itself. They do not abide in either, because they are contradictory. These two are not the same, like the sun and shadow. That is unborn, un abiding, and unceasing. In any moment of arising, there is no abiding and ceasing. In any moment of abiding, there is no arising and ceasing. In any moment of ceasing, there is no arising and abiding. Therefore, all dharmas do not become momentary arising, momentary abiding, and momentary ceasing in order. Nor is it possible simultaneously, because the moments of arising, abiding, and ceasing of all dharmas at the same time are not the same. If, according to the order, from the moment of arising to the moment of abiding, then to the moment of ceasing, and then to the moment of arising, it arises in this way, then it is unreasonable from the perspective of ultimate truth, because another moment does not arise from the cessation of the previous moment, and likewise, karma does not arise from cessation. For example, just as a sprout arises from an uncorrupted seed, and does not arise from a corrupted one. Therefore, from the perspective of ultimate truth, because there is no non-existence, there is no moment. Because one and many are contradictory. Therefore, all moments are non-existent, separated from one and many, and are the supreme non-duality. As it is said in the Root Tantra of the Glorious Kalachakra: 'Transcending existence and non-existence, non-duality (Advaya, Sanskrit: अद्वय, Romanization: advaya, literal meaning: not two) exhausts things and non-things. Emptiness (Shunyata, Sanskrit: शून्यता, Romanization: śūnyatā, literal meaning: empty) is inseparable from compassion (Karuna, Sanskrit: करुणा, Romanization: karuṇā, literal meaning: compassion), Vajra-yoga (Vajra-yoga, Sanskrit: वज्रयोग, Romanization: vajrayoga, literal meaning: diamond union) is great bliss. Transcending the nature of the finest dust, completely abandoning the dharma of emptiness. Completely liberated from permanence and annihilation, Vajra-yoga is impartial.' Then, how should it be understood? Here it says: 'Not distracted by the aspect of signs.' Signs (nimitta) are: conceptualization (vikalpa), proliferation (prapañca), total conceptualization (samkalpa), individual conceptualization (vikalpana), and subsequent conceptualization (anuvikalpa). These are in order: the deluded consciousness arising from beginningless habits, the conceptualization that produces movement arises continuously; consciousness clings to the object and the subject, the grasped and the grasper, etc., as two, clinging to the two, having the aspect of grasping the two; appearing in various ways without number or limit, in the gate of various delusions, the boundless realm... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
