Nampar Rolwa (meaning 'Various Dances') Homage to the lotus feet of Sönam Gyatso (Ocean of Merit), the unsurpassed refuge and protector of all people in Tibet, China, Mongolia! From the treasure of the upholder of the doctrine, Losang Drakpa (Tsongkhapa), arose, Enriching the treasure of explaining the flourishing doctrine. Liberating all beings with selfless generosity, the Lord, I pray to the peerless venerable Lama. Not violating even the slightest precept, The holy one who diligently keeps vows. Seeing, hearing, and remembering fulfill all wishes, The incomparable one! Sönam (Merit), the powerful one, uses his hair as a footrest, Revealing the ocean of wondrous deeds. Supreme among all powers, strengths, and freedoms, The incomparable one! Thus, by the power of praying to you, Abiding in the right path, completing the study and contemplation, With stable meditation, generating supreme wisdom, May the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge be purified. With the renunciation of remembering impermanence and death, May all appearances of this life naturally subside. Seeing the six realms of beings as parents, May I wholeheartedly take on the burden of benefiting others. This was composed by Pema Karpo (White Lotus) upon the urging of the proclaimer of names. Also, praising him: Homage to the immaculate lotus feet of the great omniscient and all-seeing Sönam Gyatso! Having generated the mind of supreme enlightenment, Crossing over the ocean of merit and wisdom, Controlling the assembly of liberation jewels, I pray to the guide of beings. Lord of Victors, your eyes, Never cease to gaze upon beings, Measuring the time for taming, I bow to the source of various forms. The sprout of merit, the field of the virtuous Sangha, Accomplishing the growth in all directions, Even having taught the ocean of deeds, without arrogance, I bow to the perfect guide. The radiance of the great wisdom that sees all, Opening the eighty-four thousand doors of Dharma, Leading all beings without exception, delighting in this dance, I bow to the actual manifestation of the fully enlightened Buddha. The white light of the fingernails, the spring embraced by smiles, The red soles of the feet, the supreme glory of the lotus pond, With respect surpassing the binding of a golden crown, I bow to the ornament of the beings of the three realms. Only the Victor can measure, Even though our words may be presumptuous, With the faith of following the Dharma, Who can exhaust your qualities? Thus, the venerable... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I pray to the venerable lama! May I rely on the feet of the holy spiritual friend in every lifetime, Tame my mind with the Bodhicitta of aspiration and action, And may I attain perfect Buddhahood! This was written by Pema Karpo at Chonggye Taktser, at the request of the teacher and virtuous friend Paljor Sonam Lhundrup of Sera Jey College. Here are some teachings of the omniscient Pema Karpo. Here are some teachings of the omniscient Pema Karpo. This is a letter sent from Rinbung to Chenla. Like Saraswati descending upon virtue, Like the essence of your desired teachings, Now in this world, You alone have attained great power. In the center of a hundred-petaled lotus, you are omniscient, Respected by all four faces with skillful words. Oh, omniscient one, you are the only son of Shakya. When you ask me why I beg on the ground, The faces of those created as the essence of lineage, When raised high by the bright sunlight, The growth seen daily is so much. Even if it is difficult to conquer the South, has it been achieved? Even if one can endure the Asura seizing the essence of the earth with Rahu's fierce mouth, But this biased hundred-petaled lotus in the mud, Prevents drinking water, emitting a repulsive odor. Alas, at the tip of every thought, It is said that one can endure all the joys and sorrows of the world. Even if praised as the creator, such a sound, Unthinking, just sleeping in the room. Even if the ocean likes demons wearing blue clothes, It cannot protect itself from the mountaintop. Even if the stars twinkle, without pure words, Is it not manifest only in the constellations? Alas, the boundless blue sky, What are the changes of seasons and times? That ever-changing messenger of clouds, Has now become a symbol of harmony, all is complete. Extending a hand in Dharmakirti's debating arena, Is it tolerable to place bad rules before you? Even if dust is piled up like a mountain, Can it be moved by the wind of a butterfly's wings? This is a letter sent to Samtse at the beginning of the Iron Horse year. A gift offered to the elderly emperor. A gift offered to the elderly emperor. The powerful plunderer jointly drinks two things, The great Kalachakra transforms into Arjaka The learned Tay Situ turns other regimes, Into fragments, what is the difference?
