Collected Teachings of Omniscient Pema Karpo PK18 The Biography of Gyalsé Chung Rinpoche: A Playful Dance of Poetic Bees 3-240 The Biography of Gyalsé Chung Rinpoche: A Playful Dance of Poetic Bees The Biography of Gyalsé Chung Rinpoche: A Playful Dance of Poetic Bees The Biography of Gyalsé Chung Rinpoche: A Playful Dance of Poetic Bees. Homage to the glorious and venerable Lama Ngakgi Wangchuk Drakpa Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo! You are the one who has attained mastery of speech, residing on the snowy mountain peak, 3-241 You are the one whose fame flows like the Ganges River. You illuminate the precious Dharma of the Victorious Ones like the blue rays of light in the eyes of a vidyadhara, Your waves of compassion surge and swell. You adorn all with pure and excellent qualities, Your activities are boundless and beyond comprehension. You are the source of joy for all fortunate devotees, homage to you—Madrotsa (lake name)! For worldly beings fallen into the wilderness of samsara, Threatened by the fear of falling into the lower realms. You are the shade tree that brings benefit and perfects fruit, Compared to you, there is no other! You moisten the earth with the rain of good deeds, causing the lotus of the doctrine to bloom quickly, You wipe away the dust of suffering from the faces of beings, revitalizing the weary ear ornament of the Thubten—the ancient utpala (Tibetan: ཨུཏྤལ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: उत्पल, Sanskrit Romanization: utpala, Chinese literal meaning: blue lotus). You are the swift-moving one born from the ocean of vast merit, You are the supreme cloud of the glorious Lama, with the lightning of biography and golden light, Guiding beings on the path of virtue, I praise you! Having heard that virtuous ones, for the sake of others, engage in accumulating vast collections of merit, And tirelessly seek the qualities of the holy ones. Therefore, I will begin from the center of the snowy land far from Magadha (place name), 3-242 There, the leader of the assembly of wealth-givers, the mountain of the new palace filled with auspiciousness, adorned with fragments of glory, whose majesty and height surpass the earth, standing like the center of a wheel in the middle of the world. Its peak bathed in the light of dawn, appearing in the color of Jambunada (a type of gold). Moist clouds emit a low rumble, encircling the mountain. Rainbows encircle like belts. From the mountain's ravines flow melodious streams, adorned with gardens, springs, shrines of wealth deities, and flocks of swans, the lake as blue as the fragments of shattered Indranila (sapphire). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is adorned as if polished with a mirror of Norbu Thonke (藏文:ནོར་བུ།,梵文:ratna,梵文罗马拟音:ratna,English literal meaning: Jewel), surrounded by many small mountains displaying various distinct colors, as if competing with the lord of the stars. The sunlight is a golden diadem, tightly bound, the mist is a soft cotton shawl. Indra's (梵文:इन्द्र,梵文罗马拟音:Indra,English literal meaning: Lord of the Gods) bow is a necklace, the moon holds crystal-like radiance. The clear waterfall is a girdle, tightly wrapped around the lower body with fresh green meadows. This is the image of the auspicious and perfect mountain, a collection of all wonders. The daughter of the snow mountain, in the summer sun, washes away the weary dust from the peaks. The summer heat melts the clouds, as if pouring them onto the empty road. The lake where white swans play, as blue and clear as a sapphire, adorned with countless stars, follows in the footsteps of the blue sky maiden. The radiance of various jewels conceals the human world, rises into the sky, and frolics in the three realms. Just like people eager to watch raise their necks. In front of such a vast gathering place of mist, there immediately appears a scene of oiliness, abundance, and auspiciousness, this vast and comfortable land of medicine, with patterns like ripples of water caused by the tender green grass swaying in the breeze, various flowers open their petals, revealing golden smiles, adorning the earth. It is filled with all kinds of medicinal herbs, whose roots, leaves, branches, trunks, and fruits can eliminate all suffering. Bees intoxicated with nectar hum busily, birds strike melodious throat strings in season, and beautiful wild animals are filled with the skill of frolicking. Stretching out the arms of the waves, scattering pearls of water droplets, the enchanting river maiden is there. Piles of rock form bird shelters, like Indra's (梵文:इन्द्र,梵文罗马拟音:Indra,English literal meaning: Lord of the Gods) taut bow, filled with ascetics. There, it has become a place for creating the root of virtue. There, is a perfect great temple, where only the blessed objects of body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata (梵文:तथागत,梵文罗马拟音:tathāgata,English literal meaning: Thus Gone One), with incomparable power, reside. It is called the auspicious Ralung Thel. The Vajra Seat where the Lord of Yoga realized enlightenment, as numerous as the dust of the earth. This land is like the Ogmin Pure Land (梵文:ogmin,梵文罗马拟音:ogmin,English literal meaning: Akanistha) below, a sacred place offered to by the three realms. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
