The intent of the Vajra Tent Tantra (rdo rje gur) is similarly found in the explanations of the Yogishvara (rnal 'byor dbang phyug), because it is the intent of the venerable supreme guru (rje btsun gong ma), without any inversion. Therefore, it is clear from examining the correction of errors in the root downfalls (rtsa ltung) and so on. Now, one might wonder if these two contradict each other. Although the expression of words may seem contradictory in the interim, in reality, there is no contradiction. Because even in the path of other Anuttarayoga (bla med gzhan gyi lam), one must cultivate the bliss of non-leakage (zag med), and one must not abandon Bodhicitta (byang sems) at any time. Moreover, in the Kalachakra (dus 'khor) system, guarding the fifth root downfall is also included in the aspiration Bodhicitta (smon) and the engaging Bodhicitta ('jug sems). The third point is that according to the Kalachakra, abandoning the white element (khams dkar cha) is considered a root downfall, but in special cases, for householder Vajra holders (khyim pa rdo rje 'dzin pa), in order to procreate sons of the lineage (rigs kyi sras bskrun pa), and in the aspect of obtaining empowerment (dbang) from the consort (yum) through secret initiation (gsang dbang), one must actually practice the substances of empowerment (dbang rdzas). Therefore, there is no downfall in abandoning Bodhicitta. The twenty-fifth question is: In the chapter on the twenty dharmas such as the path (lam sogs chos nyi shu), regarding the difference between the extensive and concise of the tenets (grub mtha') of Jnana initiation (shes dbang) and the fourth initiation (dbang bzhi pa), is it distinguished through co-emergent bliss (zhu bde lhan skyes) and self-nature co-emergent (rang bzhin lhan skyes)? If not, what is the way to distinguish them? The answer is: the tenets of the two initiations are not established through the two co-emergences. Because co-emergent bliss is present in both of the higher initiations, and it can be counted in the continuum (rgyud) of each individual, it is concise. However, self-nature co-emergent is the reality (gnas lugs) of all dharmas, so it is extensive. The Two Examinations Tantra (brtag gnyis) says: 'Whatever co-emergent arises, that is called co-emergent, it is said to be self-nature co-emergent wisdom, all aspects are gathered into one.' (lhan cig skyes pa gang skyes pa, lhan skyes pa der brjod par bya, rang bzhin lhan cig skyes shes brjod, rnam pa thams cad sdom pa cig) And the Co-emergent Accomplishment (lhan gcig skyes grub) of the great king Indrabuti says: 'That which is born similar to what, therefore it is called co-emergent.' (gang dang mtshungs pas skyes gyur pa, des na lhan cig skyes zhes brjod) These two quotations, above and below, although they show that all dharmas are naturally free from elaboration (spros bral), they do not say that they are the cause of the arising of the tenets of the two initiations. The cause of the arising of the tenets of the two initiations is their respective paths and so on. Therefore, the practices such as the path of Bodhisattvas (byang sems) who are in the hidden two grounds (sa gnyis) in the path of learning (slob lam) are slightly weaker in power, so they appear as smaller realms (zhing khams) and tenets. Therefore, in the stage of those two grounds, there is only the realization of emptiness and bliss (bde stong) in one direction of samsara and nirvana ('khor 'das). And in the middle of the thirteenth ground (sa bcu gsum), the paths and so on that are to be practiced become very powerful, so they are established as extensive realms and tenets, which arise from the realization of all dharmas of samsara and nirvana as emptiness and bliss. The thirteenth ground... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Placing half below, setting it on the path of learning, this is the characteristic of the precious oral transmission. Following that path of learning, it is called the path of no-more-learning, the body becomes the rainbow body vajra body, the mind becomes the non-conceptual dharmakaya, transcending samsara, attaining the source of all accomplishments—the state of union vajradhara. This is because the virtuous Chöpel, who possesses the pure three trainings, is rich in the lineage of the three vows, and is master of all the profound and vast wisdom of the Buddha's teachings, has made some decisions on the doubts of the profound key points. The Shakya monk Paldän Döndrup, having long abandoned the pretense of knowing what he does not know and seeing what he has not seen, at this opportune moment, offers answers from the second Tushita heaven, Ewam Chöden, may it be auspicious! Mangalam! Mangalam! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
