Collected Teachings of Khedun Ngawang Lekpa NL24: Biography of Jetsun Lama Kunga Choelha Biography of Jetsun Lama Kunga Choelha Biography of Previous Lives Biography of Jetsun Lama Kunga Choelha Like the all-pervading, profound, and clear sphere of reality, unmoving, In order to spread the joyous feast of benefit and happiness to beings, Manifesting as a spiritual friend who speaks the sacred Dharma, I prostrate to that one who is inseparable from the supreme deity. The Lama, in essence, is all the Buddhas, With limitless manifestations of the three vajras, Performing the great deeds for sentient beings in various ways, All of these deeds are beyond the realm of expression. However, the wonderful waves are rapidly moving, Emerged from the profound ocean of realization biography, Possessing the nectar-like string of the biography's crescent moon, I offer it as an ornament for the fortunate ones' hair of liberation. After praising and vowing to compose, the compassionate Teacher said: 'Do not grieve, Ananda! In the future, I will manifest as a virtuous friend to benefit you and others.' Thus, in order to tame the beings of this region, Jetsun Lama Kunga Choelha, who manifested as a virtuous friend, his biography can be briefly divided into two parts: the biography of previous lives and the biography of this life. Part One: The accomplished master Chogyal Rabten, residing in Tridu Dongna Ridro, the great yogi who recited approximately one hundred and eighty million mantras of Vajrayogini, after his passing and cremation, when many people were circumambulating and prostrating to the remains, Jetsun Lama's mother was present. During the cremation, with the sound of burning flames, a piece of bone ash fell on her shoulder, and she enshrined it in the temple as an object of devotion. Later, this miraculous bone ash was taken away by the Kharngon family, and it is said that it can still be seen inside the vase of a stupa in that family's temple. It is widely believed that he is the reincarnation of that accomplished master. Part Two: Jetsun Lama was born in the Earth Mouse year of the fourteenth Rabjung cycle in Tridu Jibotrung, his father was Tarpa, and his mother was Drolma. In his childhood, he went to Tridu Kalsang Monastery to become a monk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He was well-versed in all those rituals and religious practices. In the temple of a monk, he saw a Thangka of Vajrayogini (Vajrayogini), and his heart was filled with great joy. He asked, 'Who is this deity?' They replied, 'It is Vajrayogini.' He then asked, 'What kind of practice is there?' They taught him a practice of reciting 'Oṃ' (Oṃ, seed syllable, ओं, ओम्, seed syllable of body, speech, and mind) three times, and he only recited that. When he grew up, he went to the Ngor Ewam Choden Monastery. From Khenchen Jampaiyang (Khenchen Jampaiyang, Great Melodious Voice Master) and Yongdzin Palden Chokyi Gyaltsen (Yongdzin Palden Chokyi Gyaltsen, Glorious Protector of the Dharma), he received the oral transmission of the Lamdre (Lamdre, Path with its Result) and the Bhikshu vows. When receiving the blessing of Naro Khachöma (Naro Khachöma) from Khenchen, when asked to look at the mandala, he was made to see Je Tsongkhapa (Je Tsongkhapa) three times. Khenchen Jampaiyang clearly knew with his wisdom eye that Je Tsongkhapa was the Karmic deity Vajrayogini of this Rinpoche's lifetimes. After that, he returned to his homeland and performed the accomplishment practices of many deities such as 'byung 'dul (subduing the elements), Kunrig (Kunrig, All-Knowing One), and Kyedor (Kyedor, Hevajra). After spending many years in the monastery's discipline and as a place of offering for patrons, one night, he dreamed of his root guru Yongdzin Pandita (Yongdzin Pandita), who came to see him riding a horse with many monks. He received the guru's blessing, and the guru said, 'If you rely on the deity Vajrayogini and diligently practice, it will be very good.' This dream prompted him to resolve to undertake a qualified Vajrayogini practice. He felt that there was no better place to seek teachings than from Lama Peljor Rinpoche (Lama Peljor Rinpoche). Therefore, he went to Kyegu Döndrub Ling (Kyegu Döndrub Ling) many times. He spent thirty-two days receiving the empowerment, guidance, and ripening instructions of Vajrayogini, and then spent eighteen days. After that, he returned to his homeland and began to practice Vajrayogini, diligently engaging in the common and uncommon preliminaries, the main practice of generation and completion stages, and recitation. Once, he directly saw the practice room of Lama Peljor Rinpoche of Kyegu Monastery burning with flames and a whooshing sound. For several months, he had the vision of Lama Peljor Rinpoche's room burning with fire. Also, one night, in a meditative vision, he saw Lama Peljor Rinpoche wearing an old, tattered robe, his nose cut off from the root, his shoulders red, and all the clothes in front of him red. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
