Swords, etc., strong and sharp weapons, new silver, pearls, agate, coral, as well as emeralds, rubies, and other precious jewels, silks, brocades, the Eight Auspicious Symbols, the Seven Treasures, the Auspicious Vase, the Wish-Fulfilling Tree, the Wish-Fulfilling Cow, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, lions, tigers, leopards, and other various foods, horses, cows, dogs, sheep, many deer, parrots, cuckoos, and other various birds, all beings adorned with precious jewels. In short, to please the Dharma protectors and their retinues, transforming the offering clouds to pervade the three realms, offered to the great Dharma protector and his retinue. May all be satisfied and extremely delighted, may we mantra holders and our retinues, accompany like body and shadow, from all internal and external secret obstacles, protect and guard, perform sacred activities.’ Having said this, accompanied by the ring and hand bell, recite ‘ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་གཙྪ།’ (Tibetan), may the Dharma protectors and their retinues return to their own abode in a state of joy. With this merit, may all sentient beings see.’ etc., dedicate the merit, and increase auspiciousness. Having practiced in this way in sections, if in a dream, a large white man bowing, etc., appears, and one has unwavering faith in the signs of becoming a Dharma protector, then begin to practice and subdue enemies. How to properly place in an appropriate place, in an iron vessel, a large triangular red Torma, surrounded by three small ones, decorated with red meat, and if possible, decorated with a skull, felt hat, blood, etc. Next to the white Torma, display armor, helmets, knives, and other various fierce offerings. Offer both peaceful and wrathful Tormas with tea, sit on a cushion, and visualize Gurgon and other deities in detail. Starting from three recitations of ‘Sangye Choekyongma’, up to the verses between ‘Activity Free’, practice as described above. However, it is especially important to visualize, when blessing the Torma, like other rituals, the red Torma as a wide skull born from Ā (Tibetan, Devanagari, ā, Romanized Sanskrit, ā, meaning unborn), filled with Torma made of the flesh and blood of enemies and obstacles, like mountains and oceans. When offering, offer both peaceful and wrathful Tormas together, visualizing that the Dharma protectors and their retinues are very pleased, promising to accomplish all the activities entrusted to them without hindrance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
