ra 'gyur. The Ghaṇṭi Sūtra is complete. The songs or seven tones are: Sage, Earth Holder, Possessing Six, Possessing Five, Intermediate, Wise, Retinue. Explanation of the Ghaṇṭi Sūtra Made Clear. Explanation of the Ghaṇṭi Sūtra Made Clear. Explaining the Ghaṇṭi Sūtra involves two parts: questions and answers. The answers have seven points: identifying the material for making the Ghaṇṭi; showing the size and shape of the Ghaṇṭi made from that material; how to consecrate the Ghaṇṭi with that size and shape; the place where the consecrated Ghaṇṭi is placed; how to strike the placed Ghaṇṭi; clarifying the person who strikes the Ghaṇṭi; Elaborating on the benefits of all these. The first part has four aspects: identifying the available wood; showing the wood that can be used even without these; showing that other wood besides these cannot be used to make the Ghaṇṭi; explaining how the demerits increase if the Ghaṇṭi is made from unsuitable wood. The second part shows the size and shape, including the size and shape of the Ghaṇṭi itself, and the size and shape of the Ghaṇṭi's accessories. The first part has two aspects: showing the size and showing the shape. The second part about accessories also has two aspects: showing its size and shape.
