Abstaining from accepting gifts, abstaining from unchaste conduct, abstaining from false speech, abstaining from grain liquor, prepared liquor, and places of intoxication and heedlessness, Abstaining from garlands, perfumes, ornaments, and colors, abstaining from high and large beds, abstaining from untimely food, abstaining from accepting gold and silver, from accepting gold and silver Completely returning. I will follow the precepts of those noble Arhats with these ten branches, follow in practice, follow in conduct. Then, the teacher with skillful means Says, 'It is.' and says, 'Practice well.' Thus, from the ten precepts actually taken, if the four root precepts are violated, a transgression similar to defeat is committed; if the six branches are violated, a transgression requiring confession is committed; If the harmonious aspects are violated, a transgression requiring admonishment is committed. For those that appear without fault, one must recognize them as faultless and guard them well. Thus, for the one who has just received the novice vows, because he has become the object of veneration for all, one should perform great joy and happiness. Requesting to make three prostrations to us in gratitude. The practitioner stands on the cushion, joins his palms at his heart, and says, 'Thank you very much.' Then, the Khenpo and friends who know the aspiration prayers scatter flowers on the practitioner.
