In the past, to the Sage King Śākyasiṃha, the earth goddess Tänma offered a mirror. It was blessed as an auspicious and life-increasing substance. Now, as empowerment is bestowed upon the son of the lineage, may he realize the meaning of the Dharma, free from obscurations and without mixture, and may the mirror-like wisdom be manifested.
