Those who wish to practice, abandon all distractions and busyness, establish the nature of self-arisen mind, meditate on the deity, recite mantras, clarify samadhi, and diligently grasp the stages of means and dependent arising. They will attain the accomplishment of the vidyadhara of longevity, and until the teachings of thousands of Buddhas are complete, they will be able to create the well-being of the teachings and sentient beings. Furthermore, when entering this longevity practice, if inauspicious signs occur, such as decline, sinking of awareness, or accumulation of dirt on the practice items, visualize countless wrathful deities and wrathful mothers emanating from the horse-pig father and mother in the heart of Amitayus. Subdue all enemies, obstacles, spirits, male and female demons who obstruct life, and banish them to the other side of the ocean. The rays of light gather back, transforming into the five types of weapons and many forms wearing small wrathful armor. Visualize that the entire upper, lower, and intermediate realms are covered by a protective wheel. Sing the sound of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) and burn gugul incense. This will दूर दूर all collections of internal and external obstacles. At times, perform blessings and vajra dances, and cultivate the practice of the essential nature. Due to this influence, the white-sided protectors will leave, and the black side will flourish, causing practitioners to have short lives, and diseases, demons, obstacles, and harms will increase. At that time, this heart essence of all longevity practices, for the fortunate ones who practice it properly, the blessings and warm signs will gather like clouds in the sky, and various siddhis will bestow like rain. They will surely be victorious in the battle against the Lord of Death. Therefore, future generations, practice well!
