Tad mdzad. Slaying those who cannot be slain by reversal. With this fierce mantra stone hail of the dakinis, turn back the attacks of evil heretics. It is said that when I was in the noble land of India, the heretic teacher, the lord of Lanka, was about to destroy the Buddha's teachings. From the secret treasury in the south of the Vajra Throne, the seat of the Thubpa, which resembles a turtle's carapace, Padma himself, prophesied by the dakinis, emerged. He turned back the debate of five hundred heretic teachers. He liberated the master of evil mantras, the heretic, with lightning. He raised the banner of the Buddha's teachings in the ten directions. It is said that in the noble land of India, the great teacher Padmasambhava expanded the Buddha's teachings by relying on this profound instruction. When the great teacher came to Tibet and spread the teachings of the holy Dharma like the sun, he thought of the benefit of beings in the degenerate age of strife in the future and hid it as a treasure. Alas, this profound and ultimate essence of secrecy is the heart's treasure of Padma himself. Although I have hidden many profound treasures in Tibet, in other treasures besides this one, there is no teaching of the practice and accomplishment of the demon-subduing dakinis. Therefore, this profound and ultimate instruction will be found by my incarnate son through the power of aspiration, and may it become the seed of the Buddha's teachings. This, bestowed from treasure to treasure, with aspirations, entrustments, and prophecies for those with various needs and karmic connections, was hidden as a treasure in the secret cave of Dechen, the navel of the earth, the king of snow mountains, Tise (Mount Kailash), as part of the Dharma cycle of the wheel of empowerment of the Lama Chakrasamvara, when the prophecy came due. The great vidyadhara Nyima Drakpa unearthed it from the treasure and gradually spread it to the fortunate ones. Now, to perform this profound empowerment of this extremely powerful and blessed thing, first, the duties of the master have been completed. Now, offer the mandala, which is the duty of the disciple. After giving the sign, offer the mandala and repeat this prayer for the purpose of requesting empowerment. Hūṃ. Great hero, chief of the dakinis, consider us, your children. Chief of the wisdom dakinis of the charnel ground, bestow the empowerment of the demon-subduing black one. Three times. Thus, pray.

After the completion of the steps for bestowing empowerment, visualize as follows: This place is not an ordinary appearance, but in the center of a pure, non-dual wisdom self-manifested realm, the main mandala, the glorious lama inseparable from the Subduer of Demons, Lion-Faced Mother, surrounded by all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and three times, abiding as if vividly present. Before them, taking refuge until enlightenment for oneself and all sentient beings, thinking thus, take refuge, and repeat after me this great vehicle's root, the altruistic mind of supreme enlightenment: HUNG! From this day until enlightenment, I take refuge in the Lama, the Jewels, the Mandala deities, I take refuge in the assembly of Wisdom Dakinis, In every way, I take refuge. The powerful and fierce action Bodhicitta, I generate the supreme and holy. Repeat three times. Thus, the preliminaries of empowerment, the supplication for the meaning of empowerment, and the refuge and Bodhicitta have been well completed. In order to establish the basis for the actual empowerment, perform the following visualization for invoking the wisdom deities: OM MAHA SHUNYA JÑANA VAJRA SVABHAVA ATMAKO HAM (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), etc., sprinkle water from the vase's mouth. From within emptiness, in the center of the red-black Dharma origin, on the seat of the arrogant male and female, lotus, sun, and moon, especially one's own mind essence, in the center marked by a sky-iron melted curved knife wheel, the HUNG (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) syllable, blue-black, radiant and splendid, radiates light, offering to the noble ones. For the benefit of sentient beings, invoke the splendor, power, qualities of all the Buddhas, wrathful deities, wrathful mothers, and dakinis of the three times, gather them back and dissolve them into the HUNG (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) syllable. The splendor blazes intensely and completely transforms, from which arises the Demon-Subduing Dakini, Lion-Faced Mother, with one face and two arms, her body dark blue-black, blazing with light. Her mouth is open, her tongue curled, her fangs tightly clenched, her hair reddish-black, dense like clouds, her three eyes gazing in anger. Her mustache and eyebrows are hot and flashing like fire. Her right hand raises a curved knife marked with a wheel into the sky. Her left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood. Her right leg is bent, with her heel pressed against the bhaga, and her left leg is extended. In her left elbow, the nature of the father Heruka is concealed, embraced in bliss by the vajra khatvanga. She possesses the demeanor of a sixteen-year-old, with full and prominent breasts.
