Again, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the ocean of oath-bound protectors, filling the ten directions of space, I invite all without exception to come. Many ornaments, khrolo lo! Crown pendants hanging, puru ru! Bracelets on hands and feet, sili li! Piled up in light and rays, pung se pung! The body's gestures, ling se ling! Sounds and music, diri ri! I invite you to come to this place! Bless the devoted son! Grant supreme and common siddhis! Oṃ hūṃ traṃ hrīḥ āḥ guru vajrasattva samaya jaḥ jaḥ! I beseech the wisdom beings who have been invited to remain steadfastly! Oṃ su pratiṣṭha vajra ye svāhā! Bestow wisdom! May it be stabilized by tiṣṭha vajra! Samaya! Gya gya gya! The special empowerments of the basis are five: the empowerments of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activity. First, the body empowerment of Vajrasattva, the lord of the family: Place the vase on the crown of the disciple's head. Oṃ! The essence of the vase is inseparable from the deity. The body empowerment is bestowed upon the body. May the obscurations of the fortunate body be purified, and may the fruit, Vajrasattva, be attained! Oṃ buddha vajrasattva hūṃ kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ oṃ! Second, the speech empowerment: Place the bell with a red silk crown pendant on the throat. Āḥ! The spontaneously arising sound of wisdom, inseparable from skillful means, the glory of the sixty qualities of speech, unceasing and self-illuminating. By bestowing empowerment upon you, fortunate one, may you obtain the speech empowerment, the embodiment of all Sugatas! Āṃ padmasattva hūṃ vakka abhiṣiñca hrīḥ! Place the five-pronged vajra with a blue silk crown pendant on the heart. Hūṃ! The unborn dharmadhatu, the very nature free from elaboration, the spontaneously arising, co-emergent emptiness, the vajra heart. By bestowing empowerment upon you, fortunate one, may you obtain the mind empowerment of all Sugatas! Hūṃ vajrasattva hūṃ citta abhiṣiñca hūṃ! Place the hat with a crown pendant on the crown of the head. Svā! Without mixing the various objects of knowledge, endowed with the spontaneously arising qualities of rigtong, inexpressible. By bestowing empowerment upon you, fortunate one, may you obtain the qualities empowerment of all Sugatas! Svā ratnasattva hūṃ ratna abhiṣiñca traṃ! Hand over the conch shell and fill the mouth. Hā! The connection for the Torma empowerment is: Holding the Torma, Om Ah Hum, Dharmakaya Samantabhadra Father and Mother, Sambhogakaya Vajrasattva, Nirmanakaya Padmasambhava with a Garland of Skulls, Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal, Great Translator Luyi Wangpo, Vidyadhara Nyima Drakpa, Heart Son Orgyen Tenzin, Tekchok Tenpai Gyaltsen, Rigtsal Tokme Lingpa, Definitive Meaning Tenzin Zangpo, Orgyen Tenpai Nyima, Mingyur Namkhai Dorje, Jikme Choying Dorje, Kunzang Tekchok Dorje, Orgyen Drodul Dorje, Thubten Chokyi Dorje, and all the glorious and holy Lamas, root and lineage.
