The Record of Vows to Adopt and Abandon, Composed by Lady Tsogyal. The Record of Vows to Adopt and Abandon, Composed by Lady Tsogyal. From the Complete Greatness of the Teachings, the Lama Chakrasamvara: The Record of Vows to Adopt and Abandon, Composed by Lady Tsogyal. Homage to Glorious Heruka! Furthermore, regarding the most secret Chakrasamvara, the meaning for yogis practicing the Dharma, a record of vows to adopt and abandon. Having requested permission from Guru Rinpoche, I am writing it separately on yellow paper. May those with karmic connections practice it! Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! In the Tantra of the Great Ati Arrangement, it is said: The Dharma taught to the three of lesser faculties are the three: Vinaya, Sutra, and Abhidharma. The Dharma taught to the three of middling faculties are the three: Kriya Yoga, Upa Yoga. The Dharma taught to the three of great faculties are the three: Maha Yoga, Anu Yoga, Ati Yoga. Thus it is said. Moreover, the self-arisen wisdom not knowing its own face, obscured by ignorance, agitated by the winds of karma and affliction, wandering in the three realms, and circling in the six realms, until all sentient beings are not empty, with the compassion of the Buddha, the benefit of beings is done between beginningless and endless samsara. Until the consciousness of sentient beings is not exhausted, the vehicle of Dharma also arises in that way. In the Lamp Tantra it says: As long as there is an end to consciousness, there is no end to the completion of the vehicles. Thus, all the limitless collections of Dharma are gathered into the above nine vehicles. For the nine kinds of faculties of sentient beings to be tamed, the nine vehicles of taming, the order of vows to adopt and abandon that a person practices are: vows, root, and branches. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! First, vows are: the ways of practicing each of the nine vehicles and the nine ultimate teachings. First, through the door of the twelve qualities of learning, the two hundred and fifty of adopting and abandoning that arise from the four roots and six branches are the Vinaya Pitaka. If all the vows of discipline are separated from the protector and the protected, then the Vinaya is ultimate. Second, through the door of the arising and ceasing of the twelve links of interdependence, realizing that samsara has no self-nature, knowing appearances and existence to be like illusions, possessing this is the Abhidharma Pitaka. If one symbolizes oneself and becomes a protector, then the Abhidharma is ultimate. Third, in the state of aspiration, entry, conventional, and ultimate Bodhicitta, guarding the discipline of twenty vows.

The section on Bodhisattvas. If one realizes the nature of reality through profound wisdom, then the Sutra Pitaka is completed. Fourth, through the gateway of two aspects of purity, practicing the meaning of the Three Jewels, Bodhisattvas, teachers, siblings, mantras, and mudras is Kriya. When the intention of the three aspects of purity becomes vast, Kriya is completed. Fifth, through the gateway of mantras and mudras, practicing the oral instructions is Upaya. When view and conduct become inseparable, Upaya is completed. Sixth, through the gateway of two aspects of view and conduct, relying on the Three Jewels and the Vajra King, siblings, etc., abandoning curses towards other yogas, and protecting the mudra of one's own sign is Yoga. When the mandala deities become inexpressible, Yoga is completed. Seventh, through the gateway of two aspects of method and wisdom, spontaneously uniting and practicing the phenomena of samsara and nirvana as the five fathers and five mothers is Maha Yoga. If one is separated from the boundaries of protecting the root and branches, then Maha is completed. Eighth, through the gateway of two aspects of space and wisdom, deciding that all awareness of the outer, inner, phenomenal existence, and the three times is the self-born awareness, and holding the mudra of the vajra and bell is Anu Yoga. When one realizes that practice is inconceivable and beyond mind, Anu Yoga is completed. Ninth, through the gateway of two aspects of pervasiveness and vastness, practicing the four spontaneously perfect qualities of non-existence, destruction, oneness, and spontaneity is Ati. When the intention of these four becomes vast, Ati Dzogchen is completed. It is said in the "Lamp of Clarity": Children are nourished by milk, adults by coarse food, and the old and infirm are nourished by balanced nutrients. Similarly, the vehicles of Dharma enter into vows and practice, and the ultimate result is great Ati. Thus it is. Samaya. Gya Gya Gya. Second, there are three roots: the root vows of the guru, yidam, and dakini. First, there are three roots of the guru's vows: the vow of body, the vow of speech, and the vow of mind. It is said in the tantra: The teacher of empowerment through vows is more important than the mother, and is carried on the crown of the head. The teacher of the wisdom lineage is more important than the father, and is offered to on the crown of the head. The teacher of oral instruction lineage is more precious than the heart, and is relied upon with single-pointed devotion. Protect the vows of body, speech, and mind. Thus it is said. First, taking the guru's body as a vow, seeing the Buddha directly, and abandoning curses towards the guru's body. If it is not given, then first show the back
