Someone asked: If one commits evil deeds, must one bear the consequences oneself? The teacher replied: Food and clothing can be shared, but sins cannot be shared; evil deeds are borne by the doer. For example, one's own shadow cannot be transferred to another's body; it follows oneself. The translator asked the teacher: Since it is said that sentient beings in the six realms have no happiness, are not the present joys and enjoyments happiness? The teacher replied: Son, King of Nagas, let alone the small pleasures of the present human body, even the complete joys and enjoyments of the Thirty-three Gods (Trayastrimsha), such as Indra, Brahma, and the Root Three, cannot be called happiness. Why? Because happiness does not remain constant in happiness, and even if happiness is temporarily obtained from contaminated merit, when that contaminated merit is exhausted, one must experience suffering. Again, he asked: What is the difference between the benefits of practicing virtue and the faults of practicing evil? The teacher said: If you do not understand this, look at the Buddhas above and the sentient beings below. He asked: What is the difference between giving and not giving in the previous life? The teacher said: Look at the rich enjoyers and the poor without wealth. He asked: What is the difference between keeping vows and not keeping vows in the previous life? The teacher said: Look at those with good and bad appearances. He asked: What is the difference between cultivating patience and not cultivating patience in the previous life? The teacher said: Look at the king and the leper. He asked: What is the difference between using wisdom and not using wisdom in the previous life? The teacher said: Look at humans and animals. He asked: What is the difference between diligently practicing Dharma and not diligently practicing Dharma in the previous life? The teacher said: Look at the virtuous friends and ordinary people. He asked: What is the difference between meditating on samadhi and not meditating on samadhi in the previous life? The teacher said: Look at the fortunate ones with sharp faculties and the mute who knows nothing. He asked: Then, what is ultimate happiness? The teacher said: Ultimate happiness is the attainment of Buddhahood. He asked: Then, the supreme refuge is

Asked, "What is the supreme object of refuge?" Answered, "The supreme object of refuge is the Lama." Asked, "Then, what is the supreme friend?" Answered, "The supreme friend is a Dharma-abiding Dharma brother." Asked, "What is the root of the entering of blessings?" Answered, "The root of the entering of blessings is faith." Asked, "What is the root of accomplishments?" Answered, "The root of accomplishments is supplication." From here downwards, there are many more, but they are omitted, haha! Then, the translator placed Guru Rinpoche's feet on his head, prostrated and circumambulated, and offered a tsok wheel and a mandala of many jewels. Guru Rinpoche said, "Khon Lu'i Wangpo, write down all these questions and answers of today, and in order to complete the incomplete parts of the Chakrasamvara wheel of Dharma, conceal them as a treasure. In the future, at the very end of the degenerate age, when you meet your incarnation Garwang Drodul Lingpa, these present imprints will remind you, and you will involuntarily blaze with devotion to Padmasambhava, and benefit many wandering beings." I, the translator, and Yeshe Tsogyal, who has attained the unfailing dharani, wrote it down, and concealed the Chakrasamvara wheel of Dharma and so on as a treasure in Dechen Sangwa Phuk, west of Mount Kailash. Samaya! Seal! Seal! Seal! Treasure Seal! Conceal Seal! Profound Seal! Strict Seal! Entrust Seal! Samaya! Seal! Seal! Seal! I, like a human figure in a dream, am a dancer of illusory appearances, the yogi Nyima Drakpa, free from action, copied it from yellow paper in Khamsum Namgyal, the upper hermitage of Chakri in Kham Singmo Dzong. May there be auspiciousness! The answers of the translator Khon Lu'i Wangpo.
