Then he went forward, prostrated at his feet, and stood with his palms joined. "Lord, please listen to my words! It is extremely difficult to find the Dharma in millions of kalpas. Having found it, until enlightenment is attained, the wise will never abandon it. This nectar of peace, the unconditioned Dharma, nothing can compare to it. May all sentient beings be filled with joy. Therefore, the sacred Dharma is said to be the most supreme." He spoke many verses such as these. After that, the Dharma King Yul-khor-srung went to a secluded place and secretly practiced yoga. In the presence of the guru named Nüden Dorje, the king stood with his palms joined, and by the power of the Dharma, tears flowed from his eyes. For the sake of constant love for all beings, two sons were miraculously born on the queen's lap. "Please grant that I may be free from all fears." After reciting these verses, Nüden Dorje addressed the king, expounding various extensive teachings of the Dharma. Like the many forms of a thousand Buddhas, the auspicious marks and signs were extremely clear. He placed the names of the children in precious vases, and by practicing with them residing in the center of the mandala, everything was accomplished. After saying this, King Yul-khor-srung sat in the middle of a great palace, on a fine lion throne and lotus seat. He settled perfectly within and thought like this: "All these youths of mine have entered into the unexcelled perfect enlightenment. I wonder which of these youths will become a Buddha first." He ordered the making of seven precious vases, which were carefully cleaned and filled with milk, grains, flowers, and fragrant perfumes. He wrote the names of the youths and placed them in the vases. The mouths and necks were adorned with various precious ornaments, and they were embellished with various lotuses and wish-fulfilling jewels, making them beautiful to behold, and then placed on lotus seats. Opening the mandala where all the teachings were gathered, Nüden Dorje practiced continuously for seven days, making offerings for seven days with divine flowers, incense, powders, fragrant smoke, and various kinds of perfumes, as well as various musical instruments and cymbals. The king, the queen, and a thousand sons, together with the two miraculously born sons, placed the vases in front of them. Then, Nüden Dorje bestowed empowerment, granting the twenty-five common empowerments, the ten specific empowerments, and the four special empowerments of the river of empowerment.

Granted. Having extracted names from the prophecy vase, first appeared a youth named Endowed with Wisdom; as soon as that name appeared, the great earth shook; the hand cymbals of the queen's retinue and all the musical instruments, without being played, emitted sounds. Then, the one with power, whose name first appeared, that named Youth Endowed with Wisdom, was prophesied to be the Buddha Destructive Aeon. Then, there appeared a youth named Endowed with Victory; this was also prophesied to be the Buddha Golden Canopy. After that, there appeared one named Peaceful Empowerment; he was also prophesied to be the Buddha Light Protector. After that, there appeared a youth named Meaning Accomplished; he was also prophesied to be the Buddha Shakyamuni. After that, there appeared a youth named Slender Waist; this was also prophesied to be Maitreya. After that, there appeared a youth named Supreme Wisdom; this was also prophesied to be the Buddha Lion. Then, the name of the youngest, Boundless Wisdom, appeared; this was also prophesied to be named Faith. There, the relatives and brothers of Sna said: We have already matured all sentient beings. After that, what will you do? Having said this, Boundless Wisdom replied: The Buddhas are like the sky, the same and undifferentiated; I wish that sentient beings may never be exhausted. May these pure vows of discipline be fulfilled; please listen to what my prayer is like. Please add your lifespans to me; all the Dharma Kings, however many there are, add them all up; may all those added up become my lifespan. As soon as he said this, the gods said: May your thought be fulfilled. One is missing from the thousand Buddhas; the Tathagata Faith will accomplish it. After that, the names of the two miraculously born ones did not appear; they asked them two what it would be like. From the mouth of the Youth Dharma Heart: The one who protects the obstacles of the thousand elder brothers, the collector is Vajrapani. From the mouth of the Youth Dharma Intelligence: The one who acts as the reporter for the thousand elder brothers, is the Lord Brahma, the wish-fulfilling one. After that, those thousand youths, to Dharma Heart and Dharma Intelligence, said: How did you two sons of lineage make aspirations? In response, Dharma Heart said: I aspire to protect your obstacles, to listen to the inner and outer Buddha Dharmas, and to appear as Vajrapani. After that,
