Thus, even if the essence of your heart is extracted and given, losing control in this life leads to mistaken understanding and wasted time in learning and contemplation. Supplications, approaches, recitations, and repetitions do not reach their conclusion. I confess and acknowledge the breaches and impairments of the commitments of speech. Although the natural state, free from elaboration, the original purity, the meaning of the innate, the unborn self-awareness, is directly introduced, due to laziness and distraction, practice is postponed to a later time. There is no time for realization and experience to arise in the mind-stream. I confess and acknowledge the breaches and impairments of the commitments of the heart. In short, the gurus, yidams, mandala deities, dakinis, dharma protectors, and the ocean of guardians, I am controlled by the power of ignorance and karma, violating and impairing the root and branch commitments. From the beginningless eons until now, whatever non-virtuous and sinful actions have been accumulated, I regret, repent, confess, and purify them. With great compassion, consider us with love and bestow the supreme accomplishments from the pure realms. By reciting these various confessions, all impairments, obscurations, and conceptualizations are thoroughly purified, and various accomplishments are obtained. All obstacles are thoroughly purified, and all activities will be accomplished. This is called 'Fulfillment, Confession, and Self-Purification of Impairments.' As spoken by the master Padmasambhava of Oddiyana, I, the woman Yeshe Tsogyal, wrote it down in symbolic script and concealed it as a precious treasure for the benefit of future individuals.
