The sound of i thib. Awareness gathers in the heart center, and when memory fades, a drop of blood falls from the life vein into the heart center, causing the eyes to roll back. When two drops fall, the head will shake, and then exhale, shooting out like an arrow. When three drops fall, there will be hiccups, the breath will move a fathom, and then the outer breath will cease. At that time, awareness faints in the heart center due to blood, and for the time it takes for a person to eat a meal, there will be no memory or thoughts. The third is the bardo of dharmata: like recognizing the enemy in the mountain pass as one's own friend, there is no fear, or like the meeting of mother and child, full of confidence, like the final stage of the differentiation of the senses, like a vase breaking. From then on, the wind dissolves into consciousness, and the inner breath ceases. Consciousness dissolves into space, and the mind dissolves into the dharmadhatu. After a moment of fainting, when about to awaken, the sky of the peaceful dharmakaya will appear, like a clear sky in late summer and early autumn, and as soon as it is recognized, it will be naturally liberated on the basis of primordial purity. Then there is the dissolution of space into clear light, and rays of light shoot out from one's own eyes, illuminating the sky, which is called the rope of the eyes' compassion that never ceases, and by focusing awareness on it, one can penetrate upwards and be naturally liberated in the state of primordial purity. If it is not recognized, then the appearances that arise from it will not change, and the pure land of clear light will appear like the sun shining on a mirror. The outer appearances of earth, stones, mountains, rocks, plants, forests, sun, moon, etc. will disappear, and the inner appearances of the dharmata clear light pure land will become pure, subtle and transparent, clear and radiant, essentially beautiful and awe-inspiring. Like seeing the great ocean outside, each spark will illuminate the entire sky, and appearances and existence will burn into a collection of light and rays, which will pulsate when lifted and soften when pressed, and oneself will appear as a luminous light body, and all directions will be covered by a net of five kinds of light, and all appearances will appear naturally perfect, beautiful and impossible to fully gaze upon. At that time, recognizing these appearances as one's own appearances will lead to natural liberation. Then there is the dissolution of clear light into union, and these appearances will turn into mandalas of peaceful and wrathful deities. That time is the final intermediate stage.

The way of liberation arises like seeing through a hole in a lid: As the forms arising from the sound of a moment radiate in the form of sound, light, and rays, when the peaceful and wrathful mandalas gradually appear, the previously familiar instructions, the ground luminosity, and the spontaneously arising luminosity that appears later, the two blend like mother and child, and are liberated in self-arising and self-appearance. Then, the so-called appearance of union, the peaceful clusters of the heart appear in five sets of five stages. On the first day, the sound of the element of space, completely pure, appears in the center of the blue, with Vairochana as the main one, clusters of the five families appear in countless millions, recognizing it as self-appearance, and are liberated in the essence of Vairochana. Similarly, on the remaining four days, clusters of the four families appear in succession, including the bodhisattvas of the directions and the gatekeepers, the mandala of clusters, five sets of millions, is inexpressible. In all directions, above and below, there are five families, and ten with the consorts. And that itself is also a hundredfold, with each of the elements and wisdoms having ten distinctions. And that itself appears a hundred times in ten directions, a thousandfold. And from the sound of that itself, that same amount appears again in ten directions, a millionfold. And the inconceivable bodies of the Buddhas that arise from that appearance, pervading the sky, completely clear, shimmering with light and rays, spontaneously accomplished, beautiful to behold, tall and well-arranged, adorned with splendor, appear. At that time, the instructions of the three key points should be remembered: entering is the key point of knowing, liberation is the key point of the body, and ultimate completion is the key point of recognizing the nature. The first also has two: the wisdom entering into the luminosity: From one's own heart, a thread of light like a very fine five-colored thread connects to the hearts of the deities of the cluster, and countless tiny bindus appear on that thread of light. Placing the wisdom in the heart of that cluster and remaining in the state of clarity and emptiness, one is liberated without being separate from the body of the cluster. The second, the light entering into the wisdom: Also from the heart of the cluster, a thread of light arises and gathers again, dissolving into one's own heart in an instant. At that time, with the instruction of self-arising dissolving into oneself, like a small child entering the lap of its mother, one is liberated by remaining in the state of clarity and emptiness. Then, again, on that itself...

When attained, it is called absorption into the wisdom of union. From one's own heart, shoot out ropes of four colors of light into the sky above. By looking without distraction, the appearance arises as extremely vast, unmixed with anything else. Above the four stacked layers, like the sunbeams of stars, are bindus that match their respective colors, like mirrors, with the radiance of wisdom, clear and radiant, adorned with five self-existing bindus each. Among them, first, on the blue cloth, there is a blue bindu, like a lapis lazuli bowl turned upside down, adorned with five self-existing bindus. Above that is a white cloth with a white bindu; above that is a yellow cloth with a yellow bindu; above that is a red cloth adorned with a red bindu. Above that, a round light appears like a peacock's umbrella. This is the appearance of the four lamps dissolving into the expanse. The previous four are the inner path of Vajrasattva (Dorje Sempa), the appearance of the union of the four wisdoms. At that time, one should remember the instruction like an unchangeable golden needle. Just as when water enters a person's heart, it is drained by a golden needle, so by not being distracted by the cloth of light and recognizing it as self-appearance, a continuous stream of samadhi arises. One is liberated in that very moment. Third, the three key points of recognizing completion are: At that time, liberation comes from trusting in the previous appearances, like a mother embracing her child; like seeing a familiar person after a long time and resolving doubts, liberation comes from recognizing the meaning of the previous instructions; and liberation comes from abiding without distraction in the self-appearing samadhi like an unchangeable golden needle. Then, like an irreversible warrior drawing the bowstring and releasing the arrow, when awareness dissolves into the spontaneously accomplished great body, it is called absorption into spontaneously accomplished wisdom. The end of self-appearance, pure like the autumn sky, is surrounded by a circular halo of five lights, pervading all the objects of one's senses. Within that, peaceful and wrathful deity bodies, appearing but without inherent existence, appear universally in countless numbers. Above that, lights with five colors each appear, very clear. At that time, upwards is the Buddha's
