The Quintessential Treasure of Trekchö Instructions The Quintessential Treasure of Trekchö Instructions From the Great Perfection teachings, the Secret Essence of the Three Roots: The Quintessential Treasure of Trekchö Instructions. In the authentic secret language: Buddhayāna trināma Three Names of the Buddha Vehicle). In Tibetan: Called The Quintessential Treasure of Trekchö Instructions. Homage to the Three Roots! From the Secret Essence of the Three Roots, this Quintessential Treasure of Trekchö Instructions, I now impart to you, Tso-gyal. Practice it, fortunate one! For the sake of the future, record it in writing. Bury it as a treasure in a precious place. May it meet with those who have karmic connection! This instruction enables superior individuals with karmic fortune to attain enlightenment in this lifetime, intermediate individuals to be liberated in the bardo, and even the lowest to be liberated in the realm of the spontaneously arisen kāyas. It has three aspects: the preliminary practice of demolishing the house of the mind and settling into stillness; the main practice of directly revealing the naked dharmakāya of self-awareness through introduction; and the subsequent practice of showing how to take appearances as the path. Of these three, the first is the common preliminary practice, which, like other instructions, shows how to turn the mind away from samsara and attain definite emergence. The second is the uncommon preliminary practice of establishing the nature of mind, which has four parts: distinguishing between inner and outer, purifying obscurations, going ahead, and settling into stillness. First, distinguishing between inner and outer: Go to a solitary, empty, remote, clear, and delightful place. Offer a torma to the local deities. Make a truthful declaration: Now I will distinguish between samsara and nirvana, and generate the intention to enable all sentient beings to attain buddhahood. Visualize your own body instantly transforming into a five-pronged vajra, blazing with a firestorm of ururu, scattering tsha tsha and roro into one. Visualize the guru above your crown and pray earnestly. Visualize the guru dissolving into light and merging into you. Remain in a state of non-fabrication for a moment. Then, recall the activities of the six realms of beings in order: gods experiencing the suffering of death, transference, and falling, as well as song and dance; humans experiencing birth, aging, sickness, death, subduing enemies, and protecting friends; demi-gods fighting, killing, waging war, and battling; animals being foolish, mute, and exploited; pretas suffering from hunger and thirst; and hell beings experiencing hot and cold karma. In short, experience the various activities they undergo, the six realms

Thinking that those sufferings completely torment one's own continuum, practice until all of them have not become like illusory and dreamlike appearances. At the end of these, perform the abiding manner of the hundred peaceful and wrathful deities. Speech, the method of distinguishing between samsara and nirvana is: the various sounds of all six types of beings, as well as the sounds of the four elements, and after saying as much as possible such as Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) Phaṭ (藏文:ཕཊ,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Phaṭ), think that all the realms of the six realms have heard it, and explain the Dharma as much as possible. Mind, the method of distinguishing between samsara and nirvana is: the happiness and suffering of the six realms, as well as trade and profit, quarrels and fights, afflictions, various thoughts about Dharma and non-Dharma, after expanding steadily like "is, is" and "as it is, as it is," contemplate the generation stage of whatever your chosen deity is, or contemplate each of the hundred peaceful and wrathful deities, and from your own heart emanate offering goddesses, make one offering, and make one praise with the mind, at the end, gather the generation stage and contemplate in sequence. After that, consider these three actions as one, think in the mind, recite from the mouth, and act in the same way as the body's behavior, at night, do not move the body, do not speak with the mouth, and abide in a state where the mind does not think. The necessity is that all the clinging thoughts of body, speech, and mind are stopped, and all the worlds of the six realms are understood as deluded clinging, so that sins and obscurations become thin, and ultimately there is a need to attain complete enlightenment in the nature of Vajra of body, speech, and mind. Second, the method of purifying sins and obscurations is: on one's own crown, white and black A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A), is the habit and arrogance of the god realm; on the throat, yellow and black Su (藏文:སུ,梵文天城体:सु,梵文罗马拟音:su,汉语字面意思:Su), is the jealousy of the demigod realm; on the heart, blue and black Nri (藏文:ནྲི,梵文天城体:न्रि,梵文罗马拟音:nri,汉语字面意思:Nri), is the desire of the human realm; on the navel, red and black Tri (藏文:ཏྲི,梵文天城体:त्रि,梵文罗马拟音:tri,汉语字面意思:Tri), is the ignorance of the animal realm; in the secret place, green and black Pre (藏文:པྲེ,梵文天城体:प्रे,梵文罗马拟音:pre,汉语字面意思:Pre), is the stinginess of the hungry ghost realm; on the soles of the feet, smoky and black Du (藏文:དུ,梵文天城体:दु,梵文罗马拟音:du,汉语字面意思:Du), is the hatred of the hell realm. In short, just as the human body is the root of all the seeds of the six realms, also clearly visualize that these letters also abide in the chakras and exist in those places. Again, on the crown, visualize the white Oṃ (藏文:ཨཱོཾ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Oṃ) letter, which gathers the blessings of the body of all the Buddhas; on the throat, visualize the red Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Āḥ) letter, which gathers the blessings of speech; on the heart, visualize the blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) letter, which gathers the blessings of mind.
