The meaning of the innate mind's clear light, as spoken in accordance with the words of the victorious vidyādhara lineage, Vajragarbha. Ādyacittācchasyārthajinavedyābharāyanyānāṃtīrthaṃmithoṃbhāṣitavajragarbhanāmaviharatismā. (Sanskrit Devanagari: आद्यचित्ताच्छस्यार्थजिनवेद्याभरायन्यानांतीर्थंमिथोंभाषितवज्रगर्भनामविहरतिस्म।, Sanskrit Romanization: ādyacittācchasyārthajinavedyābharāyanyānāṃtīrthaṃmithoṃbhāṣitavajragarbhanāmaviharatismā., Literal Chinese meaning: The original mind's clear light, known by the Victorious One, fills the sacred place of the vehicle, thus spoken the name Vajragarbha dwells.) This is the Vajragarbha, which speaks of the meaning of the innate mind's clear light, according to the words of the victorious vidyādhara lineage. Namo Guru Mañjuśrīye. Homage to the supreme lama and the yidam, the supreme deity. The embodiment of Vajragarbha, who is Mañjuśrī, the innate awareness-emptiness, the state of great bliss. I prostrate with the recognition of non-duality. Thus, the secret of the speech of the Tathāgata is inconceivable. In the ten directions and three times, in accordance with the inclinations, faculties, and thoughts of those to be tamed, he taught inconceivable Dharma doors of the Great and Small Vehicles. The essence of all of these is condensed into the two vehicles of cause and effect. The view of the causal pāramitā path, The pinnacle of all is the intention of the Prajñāpāramitā, which is the emptiness of the Dharmadhātu, endowed with all supreme aspects, separate from all extremes of elaboration, to be realized individually by oneself, and that is the ultimate. The ultimate intention of all the profound resultant mantra tantras is, as stated in the Guhyasamāja Tantra: "The maṇḍala of the mind is naturally luminous, the suchness of mantra." Thus, the meaning of these two, the scholars who have completed vast hearing, contemplation, and meditation, and who have seen the definitive meaning, generate certainty from the authentic explanations of scripture and reasoning. Or, even if one does not possess the great wisdom of hearing, contemplation, and training, the yogis who have mastered the essential points of the mind itself, the wisdom, and who possess the experiential instructions of the lama, and who have had the nature of mind well introduced, and who have generated faith, will not degenerate from the essential points of the teachings. Otherwise, many similar and seemingly good analyses, abandoning the profound meaning with dry conceptualization, selling Dharma-like appearances as merchandise, leading those of little merit and small minds in the degenerate age astray, as prophesied in the sutras and tantras. Fortunate ones, with profound wisdom endowed with the four reliances, rely on the profound intention of the victorious vidyādhara lineage.

It is necessary to seek (genuine) instructions. It is not permissible to say anything based on false reasoning. Due to the influence of the times, people's wisdom and diligence are poor, their merit and good fortune are small, genuine spiritual friends who see reality are few, and those who speak based on random speculation are many. The Dharma is also adulterated by one's own conceptual thoughts, becoming worse and worse like milk in the market. In times of decline of the teachings, there are many things that appear to be Dharma, but few know who the knowers are. Profound meanings cannot be understood by ordinary people, except for those who have accumulated vast amounts of merit. Few people take the trouble to carefully examine and analyze in order to understand. From a narrow perspective, the thoughts of ordinary people, although contrary to the profound meaning, are immediately taken as correct, easily accepted like a dog meeting a lung, and they abandon the idea of understanding the profound meaning, saying it is not necessary. In such times, it is extremely profound and difficult to measure, and if understood, it is difficult to generate faith in the essential points of the path that are of great significance. Therefore, I do not see much need to write these things. However, in the degenerate age, with the good intention that it may be of some benefit to even one or two people, I will briefly explain some of the key points of the extremely difficult to understand profound meanings, which have become somewhat clear in my own mind through the kindness of the lamas and the kindness of the profound teachings. The original, primordial luminosity of the ground, the original reality, is the ultimate nature of all dharmas. From its essence, all appearances of samsara and nirvana arise, and at the moment of arising, they abide in it. There is no other dharma apart from it. This is the ultimate place of liberation, so it is called the Dharmakaya of ultimate reality. When the ultimate obscurations, together with adventitious obscurations and habitual tendencies, are purified, it is called the Svabhavikakaya, the essence body, which is the ultimate cessation and truth of the supreme vehicle, possessing both purity. On that ground, delusion and liberation are non-dual, it is the great equality of self-nature. That ground, from the perspective of being free from any elaboration, is primordially pure. It is not an empty void, but self-luminous, impartial, boundless, and unbiased, spontaneously accomplished. It is the source of all appearances of samsara and nirvana, so it is said to be all-pervasive compassion. In the tantras of Dzogchen, it is said to possess the three wisdoms of the ground. Similarly, in the sutras and tantras, it is said to be free from any characteristics of elaboration.
