Taste. Equivalent. Innate. Compound. Taste is the object of the tongue, with six types: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, spicy, and astringent, as well as various internal classifications arising from their mixture. There are also three types: pleasant, unpleasant, and neutral, as well as the classifications of innate and compound. Touch is the object of the body, with the touch of the four great elements as the cause, and as the result: seven types: smoothness, roughness, heaviness, lightness, hunger, thirst, cold, as well as softness, looseness, tightness, satiety, sickness, aging, death, rest, and great accumulation, which means fearlessness, possessing bodily strength without being discouraged. Through these, one should understand the various ways of experiencing touch both internally and externally in the body. The five forms included in the dharma realm, meaning "arisen from aggregation," the form of subtle particles, although form, is merely something to be understood by the mind. Manifest or clear, as mentioned earlier, is unobstructed by others. Arising from truly taking is non-revealing form. Imaginary forms are like images and dream forms. Empowered form is the form that appears through the power of mastery over meditation, such as exhausted blue, etc. Like empowered form, appearing solely through the power of the mind, because there is no accumulation of particles, its cause is not the four great elements, but rather it is empowered by other forms, so it is said to be the cause in this way. If asked, what kind of form is non-revealing form? This refers to the actions of body and speech that obtain vows between vows and non-vows, which continue uninterrupted even in times of distraction and unconsciousness, and therefore are not held by the mind. First, they arise with the great elements held by one's own continuum as the cause, and relying on the held great elements, they continuously arise until the basis decays or there is no cause for abandonment. The essence is determined to be either virtuous or non-virtuous, and it is established as form for these three reasons, being a distinction of the actions of body and speech. For example, actions such as the initial prostration, reciting scriptures, and striking others out of hatred, and speaking harsh words, although the cause is not separate from the particles of body and speech, the movement of body and speech and
