Because this is the way to distinguish what is impure and establish the two truths. Therefore, in this treatise as well, it should be understood as it is said, "Distinguish well by the reasoning of the two conventional truths." It is important to distinguish that the standard of the ultimate truth is not to argue whether Nirvana can withstand scrutiny or is truly established. That is, in the object of perception that includes dualistic appearances, this unstable and changing state of the conventional, which manifests various phenomena, if observed like illusion, water moon, emanation, and image, there is not even a mote of self-established nature. Although it does not exist, the appearance is still an appearance. If these appearances are deeply examined with the intellect of the ultimate truth, then the matter that constitutes the coarse basis and the subtle root, even the smallest particle, cannot be established. Therefore, it is empty like the sky. Since each dharma is cut off from being established by its own nature, it cannot withstand scrutiny. However, if one does not observe or analyze, but merely takes it as an object of perception in a relaxed or pleasant state, then various natures will appear, for example, like the illusory horses and cows that appear without existence. So, what is the cause of appearing without existence? It is because of the habitual tendencies that have been cultivated since beginningless time, which arise from dependent origination with a confused nature. For example, it is like the appearance of elephants and so on in the eyes of a person who has taken Datura. Thus, these confused appearances, whose nature is emptiness and without self, that itself is the reality or way of being of the appearance. Therefore, the part of emptiness is called the ultimate, and the part of appearance is established as the conventional. Thus, From the very moment of appearance, there is no establishment of arising and abiding, etc. Therefore, the nature or way of being of that dharma is that it exists inseparably from appearance and emptiness, and therefore it is the nature of inseparable truth. Second, the path, samsara, and nirvana are inseparable: the nature of samsara, which is originally the nature of non-arising, the pure part of emptiness is the ultimate truth of the Dharmadhatu, and the knowing part, the luminosity, is the ultimate truth, which is explaining the ultimate truth of wisdom and result. That is, the self-arisen wisdom itself has five distinctions of counter-aspects, and the five kayas arise in dependence on it, so the ultimate truth of result and wisdom is luminosity.

Just like the present gathering. In this way, since emptiness, the realm of reality, and luminosity, the wisdom, these two are indivisible and cannot be divided into two, then, the phenomena that appear as samsara, their nature is naturally in the state of nirvana, that is to say, in essence, samsara and nirvana are non-dual, and the ultimate truth is also indivisible. Although it can be allowed that the ultimate realm of reality and the ultimate luminosity are non-dual, if one thinks how can the impure samsara become the stainless nirvana? Like this, in the presence of impure minds, the impure samsara, which is the collection of suffering, appears as dharma, but if samsara is established as it appears, it cannot become nirvana. However, if samsara is analyzed by reason, it cannot be established. Therefore, the impure nature of samsara does not exist at all, because it is originally the pure ultimate truth of the realm of reality, and the dharma that is distinguished based on different bases and different forms cannot be established in the true sense, so in the ultimate truth, samsara and nirvana are non-dual, which shows that samsara and peace are equal. Apart from this, in the correct meaning of reality, thinking that samsara and nirvana are different is a wrong view, which is extremely ignorant of the meaning of the nature of things, and has not understood the profound meaning of the definitive sutras. Although one does not understand in this way, in the phenomenon of verbal confusion, it is also said that samsara and nirvana are non-dual, and with the view of exaggerated words, it is considered that good and evil, good and bad are the same, which is not allowed, because in the presence of the deluded, as it appears, cause and effect exist in an infallible way, so, for the acceptance and rejection of good and evil, even the subtle points should be understood without error, which is very important. Three, the basis and result to be obtained are non-dual: at any time, the nature of dharma will not change its own state, and for those noble ones, this has become true. The nature of the ultimate truth is, self-luminous, is the essence of the Tathagata, does not depend on causes and conditions, originally exists or is naturally accomplished. So, what are its characteristics? The essence is emptiness, and the nature is luminosity. That is to say, the wisdom that arises from not understanding the truth, that kind of indivisible clarity and emptiness, the way of being away from objects, has the nature of self-illumination, that is, the three, clarity, emptiness, and wisdom, are the indivisible nature of dharma. This itself does not depend on the causes and conditions of the path
