Conversely, monkeys, cats, jackals, donkeys, buffaloes, and other despised animals uttering sounds of two or four legs, and those blocking the road or meeting on the road; seeing snakes and scorpions and other repulsive creatures blocking the road; seeing people with sorrowful faces and repulsive, impaired senses and limbs, fearful, sorrowful people; people uttering in any way inauspicious words: failure, decay, death, sickness, decline, cut off! Break! Alas! Long, difficult, unaccomplished, meaningless, etc.; and the sound of wailing, in short, hearing any unpleasant and inauspicious words, one should think that the activity being undertaken will not succeed and is inauspicious. If such bad omens are seen, one should immediately stop engaging in that activity and engage in another activity. If one repeats the practice and engages again, then even if one has committed the five heinous crimes, it will be accomplished on the seventh attempt.
