To beings, it is spoken according to intention, like saying there are spontaneously born sentient beings, relying on the continuous stream of consciousness in future lives, spoken out of necessity to guide those to be tamed, not saying that there is a self or a sentient being that is a real spontaneously born entity, here there is no self or sentient being, because this dharma arises from causes and conditions. If asked, then what intention is it based on when saying there are forms, etc.? The answer is: from the consciousness that appears as form, the differentiation of the transformation of its own seed, from which, whatever arises from the manifestation of the nature of consciousness, those are its sources of birth, both internal and external aspects can be established, therefore it is said, taking the seed from which the differentiation of the transformation of the seed of the appearance of form arises as the object of focus, and its appearance is form. Likewise, sound, smell, taste, and touch should also be understood. Thus, if one knows that the six consciousnesses arise from the internal and external seeds and the maturing aspects, then knowing that there is no seer up to the toucher, one enters into the selflessness of the person, and beyond that, it is also only shown as consciousness, therefore one enters into the selflessness of phenomena, because there is no external object apart from mere consciousness, so there is no clinging, because of the nature of investigation. If it is said that all phenomena are non-existent, therefore mere consciousness is also non-existent? It is not that all phenomena are non-existent, it means that all the objects of imputation that are grasped by children with names and signs are non-existent, but the realm of the Buddha, which is inexpressible, is not entirely non-existent, therefore it is the Middle Way, it is not possible to be the Middle Way if everything is non-existent. Mere consciousness is also established as the selflessness of phenomena because of realizing the selflessness by the nature of imputation by other consciousnesses. Although there are forms, etc., how do they not become the objects of the respective consciousnesses of eye consciousness, etc.? Answer: Although forms, etc., are indivisible and unique, they are not the objects of those who have objects, because there is no part that is different from the many parts. Nor is it the nature of many extremely small particles, because it does not grasp each individual extremely small particle. Nor is it a collection of those extremely small particles, why?

Therefore, the atom itself cannot be established. If it cannot be established, it is because when six extremely small particles are joined simultaneously from six directions, the extremely small particle will become six parts, because the positions of these six parts are different. If the positions of these six particles are the same, then the lump will also become as small as a particle, and the collection of the six will not become larger than one position. The Kashmir Sarvastivadins, in order to avoid this fault, say that the extremely small particle has no parts, so it is not a combination, but an aggregation that combines with each other. Even so, if there is no mutual combination between particles, then what is the reason for their aggregation to exist? It does not exist. Do not say that the extremely small particle has no parts, so they cannot combine with each other. If you say so, then the combination of aggregation cannot be established either. If you say that aggregation also has no combination, if you do not admit that aggregation combines with things with parts, then how can it become a lump of accumulated particles? It is impossible to become. Whether or not you want the extremely small particles to combine, any particle that has different parts in the east and other directions cannot become an indivisible unity. If there are no different parts, then when the sun shines, how does the shadow fall on the other side, and how do particles block other particles, and how does one obstruct the other? If everything is in one position, then all aggregates will become extremely small particles. If the particle and the lump are not other, then the extremely small particle will have shadows and obstructions, etc., and then it will become having parts. If there are no obstructions, etc., then it will become something that is not it, so those lumps are not that particle, or that particle is not the lump, then the two will become different things. In that case, the extremely small particle has not done anything, and it becomes the non-basis of the material composition of the lump, and the lump either has no parts or will not scatter like hail, which is unreasonable. If those are of the lump and not of the extremely small particle, then the extremely small particles, if they are not other than the lump, then the shadows and obstructions, etc., are established as not being of that particle. Such speculation is a difference of existence. If the definitions of form and other things are not negated or obstructed, then is it called an extremely small particle, or is it called an aggregation? What should be done with this thought? What are the definitions of form and other things? Is it the realm seen by the eye and other things, is it blue, etc.? Then, the eye, etc.
