The various symptoms of these diseases, regardless of mother and child size, are treated with longevity pills. After careful examination and clarification of the essence, good treatment should be given to various diseases. If blind treatment is performed without understanding the essence, it will bring destruction to oneself and others, and various undesirable things will occur. Therefore, one should be divined at the time of death and avoided. Examination at the time of death includes three aspects: pulse, urine, and external environment. There are fixed numbers for death stays on the pulse. Press with three fingers alternately. If you examine carefully, at the number seven, staying three times, it is considered a death pulse. Press again, staying three times above thirteen. This is also a fast death pulse. Staying three times above twenty-one is called a life-threatening death pulse. The death pulse of fever is like the flesh below being broken. The death pulse of wind disease is like ten drops of water spreading out. The death pulse of blood disease is like an elephant's saliva. The death pulse of phlegm disease is like a reed in water. The death pulse of ascites is like twisting a horse's tail. The death pulse of a tumor is like silk moving in the wind. The death pulse of an abscess is like something thrown away. Saliva is like grapes spit out, like a goat climbing upwards, like reeds in the water being washed away, like the tears of a witch during menstruation, like fragments of an old house. These are common death omen pulses. In particular, the pulses of people and property should be examined in this way. If there is no life pulse, one will die even without disease. If three stays are drawn out, there will be loss of property. If they alternate, the child and wife will die. If there is no heart pulse, there will be misfortune within four days. If there is no lung pulse, there will be misfortune within thirteen days. If there is no kidney pulse, the house will be burned by fire. If there is no spleen pulse, relatives will be lost.

The kidney pulse disappears, and the heart pulse beats three times, It is considered a sign of going beyond the four continents. After the heart pulse disappears, the wind pulse remains still, Pausing uncertainly, and then beating repeatedly, It is considered a migratory pulse that is shifting and uncertain. The wind and {perhaps} water pulse disappear below, feeling pain, and then disappear. If speculation is made, there will inevitably be errors in number. An uncle or close relative will die within a year. These can all be seen in the Mirror of Pulses. A person with lung disease will die if they have no spleen pulse. A person with phlegm disease will die if the wind pulse is still. A king will die if he leaves the palace. If the disease is not cured, but the disease pulse disappears, death will occur. If the death sign of edema is the loss of the six fortresses (referring to six parts of the body), death will occur. If the death sign of phlegm disease is the collapse of the sea of blood, death will occur. The blood of death is like semen and bile. Tumors are not treated with bloodletting, nor are medications taken. If a beggar begs, it will turn into death. Pulse, urine, foreign blood, and the four humors, if unwanted signs appear, at the time of death, one should resolve to abandon this disease. If these unwanted signs do not appear, and the pulse and urine show growth in a foreign land, and clear signs of disease disappearing gradually appear, then through treatment, the disease can be eliminated, and the wishes of oneself and others can be fulfilled. I have composed this mirror of recognition, may the six types of beings existing in the world be liberated from the inharmonious afflictive diseases, and may they attain the supreme bliss Dharmakaya.
