Da. Since appearance and emptiness alternate, Because of non-attachment and freedom from the four extremes of elaboration. If it is different from that, then it is only elaboration. However, the meaning of union in the Sutras, Is determined through analysis. In the Mantras, in the sphere of one's own awareness, It is accomplished through direct experience. Therefore, the name Madhyamaka also, Refers to the Madhyamaka of the path of wisdom, Which separately analyzes the two truths, And the Madhyamaka of the result of union, Which is brought about by it and in which the two truths are of one taste. These are the views of cause and effect, Sutra and Mantra. The former is a part of wisdom, The latter is solely wisdom. Therefore, the latter is, Praised with the word "great". Likewise, in reality, There is the reality of the emptiness of phenomena, And the reality of the inseparability of the two truths. Although the name is the same, in meaning, The difference is like heaven and earth. Likewise, suchness, the sphere of reality, and, Emptiness, freedom from elaboration, the limit of cessation, Ultimate meaning, etc., although the words are the same, Because of the great difference between ultimate and temporary, In each case, It should be explained separately and without error, Like the word "sendha pa". Thus, the seven profound questions, With profound and vast meaningful words, When explained, the questioner also, With respectful words, said this: Alas! Like a turtle in a well, Not seeing the depths of the great ocean of Dharma of other schools, Those who are proud of their own well, Our pride as fortunate ones has been destroyed by these words. The place called Ronglong (place name) is the dance that pleases Manjushri, In the great ocean of the hearts of the noble ones, Possessing many treasure troves of various jewels of Dharma, Those who abandon that and hope for the bonds of other systems are mistaken. Those who have the thought of discriminating analysis with good Dharma wisdom, Never have the obstacles of demons. Therefore, with the great roar of the lion of reason, Having proclaimed the self-tradition of the Lotus-born teachings, Having gained confidence in the supreme distinction, And please grant the opportunity to rely on, The hilt of the sword of wisdom that does not steal, To others to refute the biased and arrogant other side. Hearing the Dharma is like an ocean of nectar, The profound meaning is like its jewel, Wherever they are, they should be taken, One should not follow superficial people. Not by much hearing and much speaking, Nor by those who are born and trained to appear profound.

How wondrous! Unobtrusive profound meanings are like treasures beneath the earth, Whoever grasps this is known to be wise. Like a wisdom treasury, a vessel filled with hundreds of thousands of jewels, I have cultivated my own wisdom into a vast ocean. Realizing it was time to request the virtuous deeds of instruction, I joyfully drank from the glorious ocean of the Naga King. From the river of eloquent teachings that flowed from that, May the expanse of the ocean of discerning wisdom be widened. Be sure to realize that the source of that certain realization, the Naga King, Is the oral instruction of the lineage of Vidyadharas. May you, with the wisdom that has obtained the great power to take, Sipping and devouring the essence of the sky, Transform it into a source of nectar that benefits all in the heart, Illuminate the wondrous Dharma lamp. When he said this and prostrated respectfully, That sage also to him, Made the profound even more profound and vast, And instructed on the above points in this concise way: The supreme Dharma, the milk of the lion, Can only be contained by a vessel of good wisdom. Just as it cannot remain even if one tries elsewhere, The vessel that can contain it is this. (Tibetan, Devanagari, a, unborn) is the door of the unborn Dharma, ར་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, ra, dustless) is the door of being free from dust, པ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, pa, ultimate appearance) is the door of ultimate appearance, ཙ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, ca, no death, no migration) is the door of no death and no migration, ན་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, na, nameless) is the door of being free from names, དྷཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari, dhīḥ, wisdom) is the door of profound wisdom. Each of these six doors, Contemplate in the manner of the two truths, If you cultivate the samadhi of illusion, You will be able to draw the water of the boundless great ocean, Into your belly in one gulp. In the stainless jewel of the heart, The glory of wisdom blazes like a flame. From the path of the certainty that dispels the elaborations of the four extremes, The true nature has become a habit. Rest the realm of the luminous, primordial purity that transcends the mind, In the state of Manjushri's Great Perfection. In the vast expanse of the king of view, free from extremes, From seeing the truth in equal abiding, The darkness of the four extreme evil thoughts, Naturally ceases, and the sun of luminosity rises. The impartial discernment is the upright sage, The sudden thoughts are the child. He answered the questions in that way, And spoke of the difficult kingdom affairs with numbers. I, a small-minded logician, Have recorded here the meaning that is extremely profound and solid, Just as it was taken from the heart of the great wise noble ones. When he spoke these eloquent words, the rain of Dharma, Thousands of princes walked through it, joyfully Listening to its meaning.
