Drive out the poison. All days are auspicious. All stars are good. All Buddhas have great magical powers. All Arhats have exhausted defilements. With these words of truth, may the poison of the local deities be without poison! Attachment, hatred, and ignorance, these three are the three poisons of the world. The Three Jewels have no poison, and with the truth of the Three Jewels, subdue the poison. Thus saying, Oṃ svabhāva, etc. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སྭ་བྷཱ་བ་སོགས།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ svabhāva, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, self-nature) With the mantra and mudra of emptiness, etc., from the perspective of remembering the meaning of self-nature purity, contemplate that all poisons are purified in the dharmadhatu. Then, in order to prevent harm again, protect everywhere with the vajra mudra. By the blessings of the truth of the Victorious Ones and their heirs, and by the power of the wrathful king with piled-up moles, I have protected the local deities, etc., so let no one harm them in the future! For the above mantras, etc., for diseases and evil spirits, recite Raksha Raksha Ye Svaha. (Tibetan: རཀྵ་རཀྵ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: rakṣa rakṣa ye svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Protect, protect, may it be auspicious!) Thus saying. The Buddhas of the ten directions and their heirs descend from the sky in front, and with auspicious songs, rain down flowers. Now, all the local deities and landowners, like being freed from the harm of the sun, moon, stars, and Rahu, completely triumph over demons, obstacles, things to be abandoned, and unfavorable conditions, and contemplate being blessed with the most auspicious blessings. Scatter flowers in all directions while reciting the Ye Dharma mantra. For those who are stingy and attached, cut off and eliminate defilements, and recite as many auspicious verses as possible, such as those with perfect qualities. Offer tormas extensively, proclaim the oath to be protectors in the future, teach the Dharma, and perform incense offerings. In this way, the impurities and grudges of the local deities are purified, the decline of the place is pacified, and it becomes auspicious. Regarding the method of praising the local deity shrine: Build a square shrine in an auspicious place. Inside, place a treasure vase filled with treasures, or on good land, place a white stone without worms taken from an auspicious place, bury it according to the way it comes from the heart essence of the local deity suppression mantra, and place various jewels, various soils, various waters, and other auspicious substances. Pile white stones on top of the shrine, and paint garudas, dragons, and lions on wooden plaques, as well as suns, moons, jewels, and other auspicious objects.
