Even though there arises something that seems to be truly established, like being chased by an enemy in a dream, or being carried away by illusory water, this is just adding delusion upon delusion. Therefore, from the very moment of appearance, do not be distracted from the intrinsic face of whatever arises, but look directly at it. Just as the moon in water is merely an appearance without inherent existence, once you recognize this, emotions like attachment and hatred also become intangible, like chasing a rainbow or a dream from last night. Based on this, all experiences of happiness and unhappiness, pleasure and pain, are without inherent existence from the very moment of their appearance, like a snake knot unraveling in the sky or drawing a picture on water. Knowing this, the mind of attachment and hatred dissolves on its own, and the primordial wisdom of self-liberation, free from all elaboration of reality, is manifested. In the Secret Sound Tantra, it says: "What is called self-liberation is not going from one place to another. The mind that is not liberated by anything is complete from the beginning, without coming or going." Until: "Liberated by itself, there is no antidote. Liberated in the moment, it vanishes in sight. Completely liberated, there is no effort." In short, in order to save you from the suffering of the lower realms and samsara, your relatives and descendants are accumulating merit, making offerings to the lama and the Three Jewels, providing hospitality and offerings to the assembly of monks, giving generously to beings, especially the poor like beggars, offering torma to spirits, building supports for body, speech, and mind, reciting profound sutras, performing various tantric mandala practices, and so on. All these great virtuous deeds will be of great help to you, so do not be sad. In particular, those who remain are praying for you at the gathering where prayers are offered to the Three Jewels. Have faith and respect in this, and do not follow the fear and delusion of the bardo. Generate the mind of wanting to be liberated from samsara, generate faith in the lama and the Three Jewels, generate compassion for all limitless sentient beings, repent of the sinful actions accumulated in the past, and generate a strong desire to attain the supreme state of enlightenment for yourself and others. We will also hold a great mandala called "This."

And practice offering, and after performing the ritual activities of purifying the evil destinies according to what is said in the tantras, just as you have purified your own mind by purifying obstacles and sins, and have become fortunate ones who can enter the mandala, after actually entering the mandala, perform the meaning of the rituals such as empowerment without error. Also, when practicing the stages of the path and so on, no matter where you are born in the high or low places of samsara, you should know that it is the nature of suffering, the waves of suffering, the welcoming and seeing off of suffering, like a pit of fire or a land of rakshasas, and do not be attached or cling to it. Now, we should go to the pure land of great bliss and liberation, and with a joyful and cheerful heart, for the path that shows the way to go to the pure land, generate a strong desire to go quickly like an arrow shot by a strong man. Now, this great mandala of the Bhagavan called "So and so" is actually dwelling here, and we are also the assistants of words, you and your relatives together, come quickly, transform your body into as many dust particles as there are in the land, prostrate to the mandala deities, pray with your speech, and rely on refuge with strong devotion in your heart, do it from the bottom of your heart! After such exhortation, enter the order of the rituals such as prostration. This is an example of a turning point where the wording can be changed according to the situation when teaching the Dharma of Bardo in accordance with the time and place, and it is also written for easy expression. This was specially spoken by the old monk Dharmashri at the request of the son of the venerable Lama, the master of the five sciences, the true spiritual friend of the path, Immutable Wish-Fulfilling Well-Accomplished Glorious, with an offering of gold at his feet, may the great vision of happiness pervade all times and places!
