In the center, filled with precious medicinal pills, fragrant medicines, and various substances, place no fewer than hundreds of medicinal pills wrapped in red silk as the core. On top of the skull covered with red silk, use the thumb and index finger of the left hand to apply sindhura (red lead) and draw a mandala like the mandala on the skull. Above these, erect a red silk tent supported by a bamboo frame. To the east of the mandala, arrange the three offerings of medicine, rakta (blood), and torma (sacrificial cake), surrounded by outer offerings. Facing the mandala, spread a clean cushion facing west, with a yungdrung (swastika) drawn underneath. In front, gather necessary items such as stone bells and inner offerings. Wear the wheel of secret implements on the body, and after preparing all the arrangements well, sit on the cushion in the evening, after the sun has set. First, arrange and bless the obstacle-removing torma, then send it out according to the ritual, reciting wrathful mantras with the power of samadhi, striking the beat, burning gugul incense, etc., to increase the momentum. Then, with "I am the Tathagata," etc., diligently contemplate the protective wheel that cuts off boundaries, and recite the mantra of the protective wheel as much as possible. Visualize the vajra ground, etc., as indestructible and extremely stable, binding all directions. Then strictly seal the boundary, and do not meet new people except for the necessities that were initially placed within the boundary. Do not bring new objects inside, etc., and proceed as usual. Then, immediately after the previous protective wheel, cultivate the mind through the common preliminary practices, taking refuge. Generating bodhicitta. Meditating on Vajrasattva. Recitation. Offering mandala. Until the guru yoga empowerment, proceed according to the preliminary instructions. Then perform the confession in the ritual. Invoking blessings. Blessing the offering substances, etc. Then, starting from the three samadhis in the main practice, unite the object of practice in front and oneself as inseparable, and contemplate the wheel of vows. Blessing the three places. Empowerment. Inviting. Requesting to stay. Prostrations, offerings, praises, etc., do not just recite the words, but diligently strive to contemplate the meaning of each word. Then learn to visualize oneself as a clear deity form and strongly cultivate pride. Visualize an eight-petaled red lotus blooming upwards in the heart.

In the center of Gesar and Zippol, with the sun and moon stacked, in the center about the size of half a pea, there is a red Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: 啥) written with fine strokes, burning and shining like a butter lamp. Around it, the letters of the mantra are very finely encircling it. From it, light radiates, performing both gathering and dispersing actions, visualizing appearance and sound as the play of deities and mantras. Recite in this way. Recite the main mantra as much as possible, and the surrounding mantras at least seven times each. Also, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra as appropriate. Afterward, according to the meaning of "all outer and inner contents," perform the post-dissolution, rise from the session break yoga, and engage in daily activities. This is the first evening session. Then, for the dusk session, perform a brief preliminary, and the main practice, recite as before until the end. Perform the torma offering to the Dharma protectors, both common and specific, and the tsok offering, etc., extensively. Then perform the post-session dissolution, engage in daily activities, and go to sleep with the yoga of sleep. These are the two daytime sessions for entering retreat. Then, the next morning, rise with the yoga of rising, and according to the order of the ritual, first tame your mindstream with the common preliminaries, taking refuge and generating bodhicitta. Vajrasattva's meditation and recitation. Mandala offering. Guru yoga until receiving empowerment, following the preliminary instructions. Then, diligently perform the blocking of the retreat and the protection wheel. From confession to recitation, follow as before, then perform the session dissolution. If there is a sequence of uninterrupted virtuous activities during the session break, do them. This is the intermittent session. Then, perform the preliminary briefly, like the previous dusk session, then the main practice, recite until the end, perform the post-dissolution and lunch, etc. This is the morning session. Then there are two sessions, afternoon and dusk. In any case, at the beginning of the intermittent session, perform an extensive preliminary, and after the dusk session, perform the subsequent ritual, torma offering, etc., extensively, because these are the beginning and end of the session. However, in this way, combine the actual duration of the retreat with the number of recitations. For about three or seven days, without counting the number of recitations, mix meditation and recitation, and do not let the mind become too distracted. Also, do not make the session too long, but perform it in a relaxed and balanced manner. Then, gradually lengthen the session, and otherwise, it is the same as before. At the time of recitation and visualization, how the mantra rosary is recited one after another from the Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: 啥) in the heart
