The Arrangement of Manjushri's Peaceful Practice in Black Script for Easy Reading Herein lies the Arrangement of Manjushri's Peaceful Practice in Black Script for Easy Reading. Homage to Khenchen Orgyen Tendzin Dorje. The source of all Buddhas' wisdom, I prostrate to the brave Manjushri. With few words, I will bestow the great meaning, and explain the peaceful practice ritual. As it says in the root text of the treasure teachings: 'Practice peacefully and accomplish wrathfully.' First, the peaceful practice: In a place free from worldly distractions, a diligent yogi should satisfy the obstructing forces and local deities. Having sealed the boundaries, sit on a comfortable seat. Engage in this sequence of actions. As it is said. First, the preliminary for the peaceful practice is: In a secluded place where there is no disturbance to meditation, away from the hustle and bustle of people, free from harm from enemies and thieves, a clean and pleasant place that is independent, during the waxing moon of any month, at an auspicious time when the planets and stars are in perfect alignment, place a painted or three-dimensional image of Manjushri in front of you. In front of it, on a clean platform, arrange a torma (ritual cake) made of barley flour and other white and sweet ingredients, decorated in a round shape, as well as general and specific tormas for the Dharma protectors, along with medicine and rakta (blood), and offerings such as the two waters and sensory offerings, all clean and pure. Sit facing south in the manner of facing the deity, on a soft and comfortable cushion with a swastika or Dharma wheel drawn on white earth or rice underneath. To the right or in front, place an inner offering skull cup, vajra and bell, damaru, and flower containers. Furthermore, arrange all the necessary items for the tsok (gathering) and other things needed for this occasion without any lack. Then, the essence of the practice is to accomplish it in a sequence of four sessions, starting with the first evening session. First, sit on a comfortable seat. (Tibetan)E nyid stong pa chos sogs kyis(Tibetan) In an instant, assume the pride of Yama, the lord of death. Offer tormas to the earth lords and obstructing forces, like the victorious one over Mara, and finally, scatter white mustard seeds blessed with mantras, and fumigate with gugul incense, etc., with great emphasis. Imagine the stone pile at the door as the Four Great Kings, offer tormas, and entrust them with the task of guarding against obstacles.

The entrusted remains. Then, visualize yourself clearly as Yama, the Lord of Death. From the radiating and gathering of light rays from the heart syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hūṃ,吽) of Yama, the Lord of Death, there arises a hollow wheel with spokes pointing in ten directions. Inside each spoke are ten wrathful deities on sun cushions. Within that is a tent of sun and moon made from the vowels and consonants of method and wisdom. Outside the wheel is a vajra ground, with walls, tents, curtains, nets, and ornaments. Beyond that, the wheel is surrounded by a tent of eight weapons: swords, arrows, spears, curved knives, hooks, staffs, hammers, and stakes. Bound by the radiance of the five wisdoms, five flames, burning like a pyre of fire at the end of time, it is indestructible, and one should think that it completely destroys all obstacles, demons, and evil spirits. Recite: Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hūṃ,吽). I am Manjushri, the destroyer of Yama, the Lord of Death. Etc., up to: Oṃ (ༀ,oṃ,oṃ,嗡) Mahā (མཧཱ,mahā,mahā,Great) Krodha (ཀྲོ་དྷ,krodha, krodha,Wrathful) Rakṣa (རཀྵ,rakṣa,rakṣa,Protecting) Jvala (ཛྭ་ལ,jvala, jvala,Flame) Raṃ (རཾ,raṃ,raṃ,Raṃ) Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hūṃ,吽) Phaṭ (ཕཊ྄,phaṭ,phaṭ,Phaṭ). Finally, leave the object to be protected and the protector without specific focus. At the beginning of each session, the visualization should be renewed, even if it is repeated. It should not be withdrawn except for the final session of liberation, and it is very important not to allow interruptions. Secondly, the main practice: First, adjusting the mind with renunciation: Ema! This precious leisure and opportunity of mine is as rare as the Udumbara flower. It will be difficult to find again later, so now make it meaningful. This perfect and precious body is also impermanent like dew on the grass. There is no certainty when I will die, so strive diligently to achieve enlightenment. The great ocean of endless samsara is turbulent with the waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death. It is difficult to escape, and there is no end to it. To escape from this, practice the conduct of the holy ones. Thus it is said. Secondly, taking refuge: Visualize above your crown, on a lotus and sun disc, the guru who embodies all the Buddhas, and all the objects of refuge, like a dense cloud. Recite: Namo! I and limitless sentient beings, from now until the essence of enlightenment, to all the infallible objects of refuge, with body, speech, and mind, I go for refuge. Recite three times. Thirdly, generating the mind of enlightenment: Because I do not recognize my own awareness, for the sentient beings who are deluded by ignorance, in order to establish them on the ground of great bliss, I generate the supreme mind of enlightenment. Recite three times. Fourthly, accumulating merit: The self-radiance of the nature of reality, which is the union of all elaborations and peace, is the body of bliss. To the supreme and noble Manjushri
