Etc., like these. Like this, all appearances should be determined as self-appearances, non-differentiated illusions. Through a way of having no attachment, hatred, hope, or fear towards anything, one should know how to turn all actions into aids on the path. The second is: Whatever afflictive thoughts arise, like waves dissolving into the ocean, turn whatever arises into the path of the Dharmakaya. This means that in the post-meditation state, even if various afflictive thoughts arise, when observing their nature, just like waves dissolving into the ocean, they are empty from the moment of appearance, and from the moment of emptiness, appearance has not ceased. No matter what, one must determine it as the play of the indivisible appearance and emptiness Dharmakaya, and know how to turn it into an aid on the path. The third is: Existence and non-existence, appearance and emptiness, are merely imputed labels; samsara and nirvana are self-appearances, free from clinging to reality; acceptance and rejection, hope and fear, are only mental fabrications; in reality, duality is purified into the Dharmakaya. This means that existence and non-existence, appearance and emptiness, etc., all relative dharmas are merely newly fabricated imputations by the mind, and in the ultimate sense, there is not even a particle of true establishment. The dharmas of samsara and nirvana are also individually apparent relative to the self-appearance of mind and wisdom, but the essence of all dharmas, the unchanging sphere, is the nature of reality that has been beyond suffering from the beginning, the eternal ultimate truth. Precisely because this is not realized, it appears as samsara to beings with inverted views, but it is merely an appearance and is not truly established, therefore existence and non-existence are temporary dharmas, because they are not self-established from the beginning. In reality, since there is no established object of clinging to samsara and nirvana as being separately real, there is no fear of abandoning and wandering in samsara, no hope of not wandering; no hope of abandoning and attaining nirvana, no fear of not attaining, etc., all dualistic grasping is merely a mental fabrication. In the ultimate sense, as it is said in the scriptures: This is called samsara, this is also nirvana, abandoning samsara, one will not attain nirvana elsewhere. Therefore, one must determine that in reality, samsara and nirvana are the indivisible, luminous Dharmakaya, the mind of enlightenment, and know how to turn it into an aid on the path. Like this, through a determined way, all subsequent actions must be practiced in connection with the timing. That is to say, in the initial stage, one must unerringly accept and reject cause and effect without clinging to anything, and all the practices of one's own vehicle should not contradict the Buddha's teachings.

Practice like a snake moving, combining the three vows without contradiction onto one seat and practicing. Having obtained warmth, exhaust it with the three practices of with elaboration, without elaboration, and extremely without elaboration. Third, the subsequent guidance: For the experiences and realizations that arise, to directly point out their nature as it is, thereby generating certainty. That is, the three of base, path, and result, and the path is also divided into the three of view, meditation, and conduct, and instructed by an experienced lama, and also well instructed with methods for removing obstacles and enhancing experiences, and guided by means of expanding the power of wisdom without bias. Guided in this way, experiences and realizations grow like sprouts in summer, and quickly traverse the grounds and paths that include the four vidyadharas of the learning union of the temporary result, and ultimately obtain the result of the non-learning union, the unsurpassed state of Vajrasattva. Now, this root guidance of the main practice of the path is complete, and I will briefly show the key points of how to combine the branches of the path. That is, during the day, maintain continuous mindfulness, and at night, rely on the forceful instructions to learn to control, practice, increase, and transform dreams. If you have not gained confidence that the night yoga will not deceive death and the bardo, then learn the transference instructions for connecting to the next life. With the pith instructions for cutting through dualistic confusion, transform adverse conditions into the path, thereby enhancing experiences and realizations. After the practice of the root guidance is stable, with the supreme and ultimate means of the secret and unsurpassed luminosity Vajra Essence, the shortcut of direct crossing Vajra, relying on the six essentials, bring it directly into your own experience, and thereby practice the appearance of the four visions and their limits, then with the rainbow body, the immutable Vajra body, it will not take longer than seven years and seven months. In particular, combining the pith instructions of the four visions of the completion stage as branch-like methods at appropriate times, the conducive conditions of the path will be complete. Whether it is just the root guidance or includes the branches, it is fine, the key points of how to practice in one day and night, with the pith instructions of weighing virtuous deeds, divide the parts of day and night into four common time periods, and the secret in the moment of awareness.
