Nawang. There is absolutely no need for fasting and the like. In Kham, is it permissible for many Amis (unordained monks) who have not received empowerment to popularize the reading of the Gyübum (Hundred Thousand Tantras)? If it is the custom of Tantra itself, it is true that reading without empowerment is not allowed. However, nowadays in monasteries and nunneries, the custom of performing profound rituals without empowerment is prevalent, making it difficult to apply in practice. In the Tharpa Dö (Path of Liberation), what does it mean that these Buddhas said that those with great desire and wrong views, except for those who commit the five heinous crimes and abandon the Dharma, cannot be liberated? The minds of great desire and wrong views obscure the Mahayana, so it is said to prevent them. The purification of those who have committed the five heinous crimes, etc., refers to other times. In the Sutra of Discrimination, it is said that considering the Dharma as good or bad, profound or not profound, one or different, etc., is abandoning the Dharma. Is it abandoning or not abandoning the Dharma when the Shravakas completely abandon the Mahayana, the higher philosophical schools refute the lower ones, and the so-called debate articles of the past? These are also debates to bring out the function of wisdom, and there is no contradiction. If you curse with hatred, you will become abandoning the Dharma. Lord Maitreya said: It is forbidden to learn from scriptures that can defame the Dharma. Therefore, it is wrong except for the sake of competing in reasoning. Some stars who have attained positions, etc., have perverted ways of making aspirations, and in many biographies and stories, some who have attained realization and abandoned afflictions in previous lives later arise afflictions again and fall, appearing to be inconsistent with the stages and paths. What does this mean? These should be considered in the Garland Sutra, which speaks of "conditioned samsara and nirvana," and the arrangement of the five paths is made on the basis of the ground of faith and practice. In the listening records of the esteemed guest, it is said that the view of the omniscient master of the Northern Lineage Vinaya is unique, and the Madhyamaka and Yogacara lineages (both) are correct. Are these two considered as one ritual, and does obtaining one mean obtaining both? The Madhyamaka and Yogacara rituals are separate. However, later lamas, in order to make the rituals easy to recite, performed them on the basis of the Bodhisattva Vows ritual, and the old texts have been lost there. Nowadays, in the commonly known stages of dissolution, it is said that transferring consciousness earlier than the time of death is bad. In the Kadampa Four Schools, even if signs of death appear, if those signs are not seen, can consciousness be transferred before getting sick? What is the difference? What is said in the stages of dissolution refers to practice.

Sa. It is said that meditating after the signs of death appear is for training. The meanings must be understood separately. 7th, when transferring phowa to others, both oneself and the other should be visualized as the main deity, and both are transferred through one clear visualization. Afterwards, either let down one's own mind, or only clearly visualize the deceased and transfer, or mix the two. Which of these is correct? A yogi who is skilled in visualization combines the wind and mind like a bow, and the consciousness of the deceased like an arrow. It is permissible to visualize one's own body. Doing so will not harm one's own life, so there is no need to subdue. For a beginner who is not skilled in this way, what better method is there than to visualize the deceased on one's own body and transfer? 7th, regarding the spontaneously arisen bardo, some say it arises after the inner breath has ceased, while others say it arises before the inner breath has ceased, due to the essence of wind and mind gathering in the heart. Which of these two explanations is more reasonable? If according to the former explanation, from the cessation of the inner breath to the formation of the existence bardo body, are the arising of the spontaneously arisen bardo and the formation of the bardo body simultaneous? According to the view that accepts the spontaneously arisen bardo, even though the body appears in some form there, the difference between the gross and subtle is great compared to the existence bardo body. According to the view that does not accept it, the existence bardo arises in reverse order from the death bardo. Among the light paths of the six realms, what is the so-called pure light path? The light of the six realms is dim, and at the same time, the light of wisdom with radiance appears, that is what is referred to. 7th, immediately after the external breath ceases, the stages of dissolution and the visualization and clear transference of phowa are performed. At that time, the five sense consciousnesses have already dissolved, and it is said that there are faints and so on. Is it correct to understand it this way? Slightly grasp the clear light, and it is also necessary to rely on the connection of phowa, one does not have the power to transfer by oneself. For relying on the power of others, there is no need to have such doubts about whether or not one understands. 7th, what do you consider to be the heaviest of sins and the greatest benefit of virtuous deeds? It cannot be completely determined by the intensity of the object and motivation. 7th, many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are said to have the same essence and the same mind-stream. What is the difference? It is necessary to understand that any one of them is regarded as the differential basis and differential characteristics of the cause. 7th, if one observes fasting and the tenth day like mentioned earlier, is it permissible to eat tsok? The path forms of these two are different, so whichever ritual is the main one depends on one's own tradition. 7th, the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas is said to be inseparable, like water into water.
