Since you cannot do the work of a monk, you must consider it carefully. During the assembly, because everyone is concentrating on reciting, you should use a pleasant voice to guide others. Ultimately, do not let practice become a mere formality, but rather achieve your own aspirations. The offering of tea to the Sangha by the patrons is also for the purpose of eliminating immediate obstacles, accumulating long-term merit, and purifying obscurations. Therefore, it is not enough to just drink tea. You must make the assembly long, the recitations good, and satisfy everyone's minds. Especially for assemblies held for the deceased, because the deceased are still in the bardo state, it is an important time to provide refuge and guidance. If the deceased develops a lack of faith, they will accumulate the cause for falling into the lower realms, and you yourself will incur great sin, so be careful. Similarly, when attending funeral rites for the deceased and longevity rituals for the living, you should choose from either the purification ritual or the Vajrasattva ritual according to the circumstances, and do not casually perform other simple rituals. With loving-kindness towards the object, ensure that the preliminary, main, and concluding parts of the ritual are pure. For the morning and evening Dharma halls during daily routines and Dharma gatherings, just as wise parents teach their beloved children, with loving-kindness and unwavering diligence, urge and teach the monks in charge of managing and reciting scriptures, especially the monastery's officers and Khenpos, and the teachers of each class, without wasting time and wisdom, impartially conduct studies, and set a good example. This is not a competition to calculate one or two khals of grain. Therefore, at all times, respect the monastery's officers and the venerable elders who are superior in lineage and qualities, and seek their advice. The elders should also teach with compassion, and listen with humility. With fellow practitioners of equal standing, you should associate with each other like siblings born of the same parents, treat each other with kindness, and cherish each other. For those younger than yourself, treat them like your own children, teaching them what they do not know, and guiding them to what they have not seen, thereby leading them. In short, ensure that there is order between elders and juniors, and that each person's actions of acceptance and rejection are not confused. In the community, also value thoughts and long-term plans, and promote the growth of virtue in many ways.

You must do this. In short, relying on the state of taming one's own mind, spend days and nights with the activities of hearing, thinking, and meditating. With the heavy burden of the qualities of being learned, disciplined, and virtuous, you must become someone worthy of praise by the noble ones. In particular, this good lineage of teaching and practice, which has existed for generations until now, must be kept in the hearts of all. Do not think, "He will do it, others will do it, it doesn't matter if it's not done," but rather think, "I will do it, we will do it, we will make it last for eons." Exert whatever strength you have in the direction of the Dharma. In this way, the leisure and opportunity will have meaning, and you will not regret it when you die, and your mind will be at ease. You will be satisfied by accomplishing the benefit of this life and the next for yourself and many others. If someone violates or transgresses the rules, then according to the articles of the charter, the faults should be corrected immediately by means of punishment such as reprimands, penalties, and fines. At that time, do not blame others, but take responsibility for your own mistakes. Think that by relying on this method, any wrongdoing committed will purify many sins from past lives. Remember that in this life you will be blamed, and in the next life you will experience the suffering of the lower realms. Therefore, whatever the punishment, great or small, accept it with joy, as this is the greatest kindness to yourself. Please understand. After that, everyone must exert whatever strength they can for the entire Dharma, and especially for the Nyingma teachings, and strive for the benefit of sentient beings. In the past, during the Good Aeon, great deeds were done for the Dharma. It is said that even a small amount of altruistic intention is very beneficial these days, so whether old or young, you should generate the mind and constantly strive to do meaningful things without being lazy. That is all I have to say from the bottom of my heart. This was a request made to the general Sangha from Daling Monastery in the Earth Snake year (uncertain), and it was compiled in accordance with the annual memorandum of the Fire Pig year (uncertain) and arranged in an easy-to-understand manner. May all times and places be filled with well-being and auspiciousness!
