Firstly, there are three aspects: definition, classification, and scope. The first is: Forms, etc. The bodhisattva's yoga that meditates by blocking the manifestation of true clinging to any of the ten kinds of objects. Secondly, there are three aspects: the nature of the basis, the distinction, and the definition. The nature of the Dharma that does not change from abandonment and intimacy. The nature of the Dharma without an agent. Three difficult practices. A special result. Protection that does not depend on others. Ten combinations that block attachment to the seven appearances. The first four are called natural combinations because they pervade from the path of accumulation to the end of existence. The latter six are called temporary combinations because if the defilement to be rejected arises, one meditates; if it does not arise, one does not need to meditate. The third is: from the Mahayana path of accumulation to the end of existence. The second definition is: the Hinayana practice of meditating on the selflessness of the basis, the person. An example is the path of learning of the Hinayana. The second definition is: the bodhisattva's yoga that meditates on the equality of the object-possessing combination and the object of combination. The classification is: the equality of the combination that blocks the true clinging to the nature of forms, etc. Its distinction is: in the elaboration of the classification, there are four types, such as the equality of the combination that blocks the true clinging to the object-possessing combination, namely: without arrogance towards forms, etc., these four are its equality. Thirdly, there are the respective natures, definite numbers, order, etymology, and combination with the scriptures. Firstly, there are three: imputation, dependence, and perfect reality. The first definition is: the Dharma of mere conventional appearance that cannot perform a function. The classification is: completely severed characteristics and nominal imputation. The first is: like a rabbit's horn. The second is: all permanent dharmas that are not ultimate truth. The second definition is: dependent arising that arises from its own causes and conditions. The example is all conditioned phenomena. The classification is: pure dependence and impure dependence. The first is: like the subsequent attainment of the noble continuum. The second is: like samsara. The third definition is: the suchness that is the main object of valid cognition. The classification is: non-inverted perfect reality and unchanging perfect reality. The first is: like the equipoise of the noble continuum.

Second, like the nature of reality. This is also included in the two truths, namely, the perfected reality of ultimate truth, and the two of being able to act and not being able to act in the relative. The former is established as dependent arising, and the latter is established as completely imputed. Second, from the perspective of the object, it is established as three, namely, the object of the wisdom of ordinary beings, the subsequent attainment of the noble ones, and the power of their equipoise, and is established sequentially. Third, as stated in the Ornament, "Because of complete knowledge and abandonment, and because of manifest action." Fourth, it is said as such because it is merely imputed by conceptualization, and depends on other causes and conditions, and is established as the reality of the object. Fifth, as stated in the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, "Maitreya, the distinction of form should be known in three ways, namely, the form of complete imputation, the form of imputation, and the form of the nature of reality." As it is said. Although the Mahayana path of seeing is actually shown here when explaining the base knowledge, it has already been explained in the second chapter, so it is not elaborated here. The Mahayana path of meditation is not actually shown, as stated in the Great Commentary, "Why is it that just as it is shown in the knowledge of the path, there is no separate establishment of the path of meditation in the knowledge of all things? It is said that one should look at the perfection of the hearers and solitary Buddhas, and the wisdom and vision of the Bodhisattvas, and transcend them." As it is said. In the concise commentary on the Ornament of Clear Realization, the explanation of the base knowledge, that is, the end of the third chapter.
