It seems that due to a misunderstanding, a rebuttal was made rashly without even reading through the previous examples. We believe that considering the latter half of the Pleiades as the beginning of the year is not the view of the Kalachakra Tantra. So, which school's view is it? In the Root Tantra, it says, "There are five, the winter season, etc." And in the Explanatory Tantra, it says, "The winter season is indeed the spring." Therefore, the Vinaya practitioners start from winter, and it must start from the first month. When asking a monk's age, one would ask, "How many seasons are there?" The answer is, "There are five." One would ask, "Which five?" The answer is, "Winter, early spring, summer, short summer, and long summer." Then, how long is the winter season? The answer is, "Four months." One would ask, "Which four months?" The answer is, "The first month of winter and the second month of winter." And so on. Furthermore, in the Great Commentary, it says, "The two months from the end of the last month of autumn to the end of the second month of winter are the winter season. The two months from the end of the second month of winter to the end of the first month of spring are the late winter season." Therefore, based on taking the latter half of the last month of autumn, which is the first month of winter, as the beginning of the year, how should the last month of autumn be determined? To explain this, the Kalachakra Tantra is quoted: "My constellation is the Pleiades, and when the moon is full, it becomes the full moon, which is called the last month of autumn, which is just a saying here." However, this quote is not citing the Kalachakra Tantra itself as the source for the beginning of the year in the Kalachakra Tantra itself and the beginning of the year in the Vinaya, so please study carefully before making statements. Furthermore, Chinese astrologers believe that the winter solstice is in the first month of spring, but the determination of the months does not conform to the general principles of the scriptures, so they take the eleventh month of the lunar calendar as the first month of spring. As for the dates, in the Wuxing Suanshu it says, "The eighth, if it doesn't arrive, then it arrives on the eighteenth." And so on, there are many inconsistencies in the Chinese astrological texts. However, Dharma Lord Sonam Tseten said, "On the thirteenth of the first month of spring, riding on the wind of the sun, led by the planet Jupiter." Therefore, adding eighteen hours to the previous scales, the sun returns on the twelfth zodiacal day. From the thirteenth, the earth lords begin to migrate as described in the scriptures.

It is said that it appears so in the Li-thu-par-ma of the Chinese legal calculation. Phukpa Kunga Palwa said: The definite seasons of solstices in spring, summer, autumn, and winter, the Sutra, Vinaya, Treasury, Chinese calculation texts, and the accomplished calculations of the glorious Kalachakra, all are common scriptural statements and obvious. Although it is said so, the idea of equating the Vinaya Treasury etc. with one system has already been refuted. However, it is also the view of Dharma Lord Trinlepa that the solstice of this place is the eighth house and is made to conform to the system of Chinese calculators, and this practice remains clear until now. Even so, due to the way of living in both China and Tibet, these views of the earlier Chinese calculator Ongtangpa, compared to the Tibetan solstices, still need to be investigated. However, there is no contradiction with the current practice tradition, because it is evident that it is made in accordance with the Tibetan solar eclipse. From the "Calculation Instructions, Manifestation of the Sun," the explanation of the identification of the four seasons, which is the commentary on the fourteenth chapter. The section is concluded.
