在《口诀根本目录》中说：安布六十个星曜时辰，在那天的太阳中，海眼是，日期乘以赐予，修习日期盈余。月亮和星宿清净，太阳和月亮二者，混合后出现结合的图样。这样只是简略地说了一下，详细的只能从口耳相传的实修中领受。总而言之，年度的六十图都无误圆满完成后，加上回向文，将善根回向给未成佛的众生，这些都要依靠智慧的力量，按照道理来做。现在要说的是这个近需，也就是轮值星曜是从天亮到天亮转移，所以掌管每一昼夜。俗语也说：轮值星曜掌管昼夜。星曜的盈余转移的界限是，从天亮开始盈余，所以盈余是现在的。日期的转移界限也是由它来掌握。太阳和地主跟随日期之后，所说的符合实际情况。因此，如果星曜的时辰只有两个左右，那么写在那天六十图上的太阳和地主，从天亮到两个时辰之间停留。之后因为下一个日期升起，所以太阳和地主们，也由下一个日期来递补。星星是现在和时辰是过去的原因是，在前面星星的二次使用的时候所说的，就能明白了。因此，现在仅仅是知道读六十图，就有很多显示星曜的人，除了欺骗愚人之外，还有什么意义呢？有智慧的人应该思考，进入理性的道路。也就是对于前面所说的六十图的结合分解，如果以经续的意义作为依据来考察，以精细的智慧来进入，还有一些需要寻找的，但是又怕被认为是卖弄聪明，所以就按照前辈的记录方式，摒弃其他方式的掺杂来书写。对于精通历算的人来说，这个历算的实修方法非常必要，以前贤者们，只是口耳相传，没有详细地记录下来，但是，思维敏捷、智慧卓越

The moon and stars are pure, and the two, sun and moon, when mixed, the pattern of union appears. This is just a brief statement. For details, one must receive them from the oral transmission of practice. In short, after the annual sixty diagrams are completed without error, add the dedication, dedicating the roots of virtue to sentient beings who have not yet attained Buddhahood. These should be done according to reason, relying on the power of wisdom. Now, I will speak about what is immediately needed, which is that the rotating planet shifts from dawn to dawn, so it governs each day and night. As the saying goes: The rotating planet governs the day and night. The limit of the planet's enjoyment shift is that it is enjoyed from dawn, so the enjoyment is present. The shift limit of the date is also held by it. The statement that the sun and the earth lord follow after the date is true to the meaning. Therefore, if there are only about two planet hours, then the sun and earth lord written on the sixty diagrams of that day stay between dawn and two hours. Then, because the next date rises, the sun and earth lord are also replenished by the next date. The reason why the stars are present and the hours are past is that it will be understood by what was said earlier when the stars were used twice. Therefore, nowadays, there are many people who show the planets and stars just by knowing how to read the sixty diagrams. What is the point of elaborating on anything other than deceiving fools? Wise people should think and enter the path of reason. That is, for these combinations and breakdowns of the sixty diagrams mentioned above, if you examine them based on the meaning of the tantras, and enter with subtle wisdom, there are still some things to look for, but fearing that it will be considered showing off cleverness, I have written it according to the way the predecessors recorded it, abandoning the mixing of other methods. For those who are proficient in calculation, this practical method of calculation is very necessary. In the past, the wise only transmitted it orally, and did not record it in detail, but those with quick minds and excellent wisdom
