The account of her deeds is twofold: first, a brief account of previous incarnations; second, a somewhat detailed explanation of her deeds in this realm. The first is that all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, the profound and peaceful nature, free from all elaborations, the primordial purity, the great bliss, from that very nature, the Bhagavan, the glorious Samantabhadra, arises as the spontaneously accomplished wisdom body. Before the self-appearing mother, the Dharmadhatu Ishvari Samantabhadri, she requested the arising of the common teachings of the Great and Small Vehicles, and especially the extraordinary essence of the profound Great Perfection teachings. That unsurpassed teacher himself, to the assembly of his own wisdom-playing retinue, spoke of the Great Perfection, which transcends sound, words, and actions, through the gate of inexpressible meaning, which is transmitted by the Buddhas themselves to themselves, and is the transmission of the Buddhas' intention. Thus, from merely showing the meaning through signs, the Vidyadharas, the holders of knowledge, realized the meaning of the Dharmata without error, which is the Vidyadhara's transmission of symbols.
