It is said that Pode attained a noble rebirth in the higher realms because of this guide who is now serving as an attendant. This was heard from the impure attendants. Afterwards, as darkness fell, he arrived at the summit of Jyarpu Laze. Generating the courage of observation, and possessing the samadhi of controlling gods and demons, he played a thighbone trumpet. At that very moment, although there was a great display of miracles with the sound of thunder, flashes of lightning, and a heavy hailstorm, he proceeded with fearless and undaunted courage, and arrived safely at the monastery without any thought of the path. There, he tried to borrow lodging from an old woman, but she refused. That night, he slept in the beggar's den in the gatehouse of the labrang. The lama seemed to have great compassion for the lowly, thinking, 'There's a beggar,' and sent a wooden bowl with the remnants of tsampa and a fire starter. He accepted it and slept. He had a nightmare and woke up, his whole body sweating, and the feeling of fear was unbearable. He even felt that his breathing was difficult. After some time, the fear naturally dissolved, and a feeling of ease arose effortlessly in his mind. After falling asleep for a while, he saw that the cliffs of that sacred mountain were connected by ropes like garlands of flowers, and many beautiful women were singing and dancing, walking freely. He spent the whole night just focusing on the rhythm of his breath, and from the swaying movements of the women, he passed the time in illusions until dawn. The next morning, the lama's attendant went to fetch water and also came to take away the tsampa container from the night before. He carefully observed his clothes and so on, and asked in detail with suspicion, 'You don't seem like ordinary pilgrims, who are you?' He cleverly replied, 'We are disciples of the Lama Sungtul from Lhodrak.' After a while, he brought a companion to observe carefully and asked many questions before returning inside. After some time, the gate of the gatehouse was opened from the inside, and the lama, with his entourage, came to greet him with silk scarves and other gifts, bowing and saying, 'Yesterday, because we didn't know, we didn't offer any hospitality. Please don't be offended, please come to the labrang.'
