Although the key points are similar, it excels others in its expression and the order of its meaning. This is because when the great Sakya master Kunga Nyingpo (Kun·Kunga Nyingpo, Kunga Nyingpo, All-Joyous Essence) was twelve years old, he practiced the Manjushri (འཇམ་པའི་དབྱངས,梵文:Manjushri,梵文罗马拟音:Mañjuśrī,Gentle Glory) practice, and after six months, he saw Manjushri in person. Manjushri said: 'If you are attached to this life, you are not a Dharma practitioner; if you are attached to samsara, you have no renunciation; if you are attached to self-interest, you are not a Bodhisattva; if attachment arises, it is not the correct view.' This sentence contains all the practices of the Paramitas (ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ,梵文:Pāramitā,梵文罗马拟音:Pāramitā,gone to the other shore). The meaning of these words is to abandon attachment to this life, thereby turning the mind to the Dharma; to abandon attachment to samsara, thereby making the Dharma the path; to abandon attachment to self-interest, thereby eliminating confusion on the path; to abandon attachment to the four extremes, thereby causing confusion to arise as wisdom. Among the above four points, the first includes the preliminary practice—the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment; the main practice—impermanence of death; and the practice of the law of cause and effect as a branch of the path. First, practice the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment: Sit comfortably on a cushion, take refuge in the Lama and the Three Jewels (བླ་མ་དཀོན་མཆོག) many times, and pray to turn the mind to the Dharma and the four transformations. Generate Bodhicitta for the benefit of all sentient beings, and then think like this: Obtaining this human body of leisure and endowment, in essence, possessing the eight freedoms and ten endowments, is very difficult to obtain. From the perspective of cause, one must practice virtue, but there are very few virtuous thoughts in my mindstream, so it is difficult to obtain. From the perspective of number, generally among the six realms of beings, the lower realms are more numerous than the higher realms, which is obvious. For example, the number of insects attached to a pile of grass or a piece of wood is more than all the people in the entire Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང,梵文:Jambudvīpa,梵文罗马拟音:Jambudvīpa,Jambudvipa), so it is difficult to obtain. From the perspective of analogy, it is as difficult as throwing beans on a wall and having them stick, or as difficult as a turtle's neck entering the hole of a yoke in a stormy sea. Therefore, once this leisure and endowment is obtained, it must not be wasted, but must be diligently practiced for the benefit of future lives and even lifetimes. Second, practice the impermanence of death: Generate refuge and Bodhicitta as before, and then think like this: No one who is born stays alive without dying, so one will definitely die. Moreover, there is no certainty when one will die and when one will not die. There are many causes of death and few causes of survival, so one will definitely die. When the time of death comes, medicine --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since no rituals or anything else can avert death, nothing can help in the face of death. After death, neither non-Dharma, retinue, nor wealth will follow, so one should renounce attachment to this life by meditating on this. 1-622 The main method for turning the mind to Dharma is to think, even when enjoying good food, wearing fine clothes, and being surrounded by many people, 'Now I live like this, but someday I will be separated from all of this and go alone, so all of this is meaningless.' By meditating in this way, one should renounce attachment to the activities of this life. The third is to meditate on the law of karma: Perform refuge and generate Bodhicitta as before. Having obtained this precious human rebirth with leisure and opportunity, it is impermanent, so before dying, one must abandon all non-virtuous deeds and accomplish as much virtue as possible. The reason is that the fully ripened result of practicing the ten non-virtuous actions is to be born in the three lower realms; the result similar to the cause is that killing leads to a short life, and taking what is not given leads to poverty, and so on. The action similar to the cause is that one becomes accustomed to any non-virtuous action and desires to do it again, and the result is falling into the lower realms, and so on, so there is no opportunity for liberation. The result of the agent is that one is born in a place with a foul-smelling and dusty environment, so one must resolve to abandon it. 1-623 Similarly, the fully ripened result of practicing the ten virtuous actions is to be born in the higher realms; the result similar to the cause is that abstaining from killing leads to a long life, and so on; the action similar to the cause is that one desires to perform this or that virtuous action; the result of the agent is that one is born in a place with a fragrant environment, and so on, so one must resolve to accomplish them. In particular, it is very important to understand the key points of what to adopt and abandon in terms of karma and to put them into practice. Second, to renounce attachment to samsara and thereby embark on the path of Dharma. Second, the method for renouncing attachment to samsara and thereby embarking on the path of Dharma is to contemplate the faults of the three realms of samsara. Perform refuge and generate Bodhicitta as before. This three realms of samsara is nothing but the nature of suffering, in the hot hells, the body is burned by fire and cut by weapons, and so on, suffering various kinds of pain; in the cold hells, it is extremely cold, causing flesh and bones to shatter into pieces, and so on, suffering various kinds of pain; in the neighboring hells, one suffers from hunger and thirst. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
