Wandering in samsara, The number of beings who have not been mothers is also countless. As stated in the Nirvana Sutra: 'The milk of a mother, as small as a mustard seed, if made into pills to count, the earth would not be enough to contain them.' Therefore, beings who are not mothers should not be visualized as mothers. 1-254 Visualize all sentient beings as your root mother until they have not been born as mothers. Cultivating compassion through the three wheels. Fourth, cultivate compassion by combining the three doors of body, speech, and mind with the three wheels. Among them, the wheel of mind is to contemplate the six realms of beings until they have not been born in each realm. The eight hot hells are: Reviving Hell, Black Line Hell, Crushing Hell, Crying Hell, Great Crying Hell, Burning Hell, Extremely Hot Hell, and Uninterrupted Hell. In these hells, the first ones are filled with the heat of weapons, and the latter ones have burning iron chambers, entering the three iron chambers in sequence, being burned by fire for immeasurable time, etc., enduring immeasurable suffering. The eight cold hells are: Blister Hell, Bursting Blister Hell, Chattering Teeth Hell, Achuchu Hell, Kyihud Hell, Cracked Like a Blue Lotus Hell, Cracked Like a Red Lotus Hell, and Cracked Like a Great Red Lotus Hell. In the cold hells, there is also immeasurable suffering. The lifespan and body size of these hells are as described in the Abhidharma and the Mindfulness Sutra, etc., and should be thought of in this way, and think: My root mother is enduring this unbearable suffering, how pitiful! Mother is suffering immeasurable suffering because of accumulating bad karma, how pitiful! How can one be liberated from suffering? 1-255 Meditate while shedding tears. The wheel of the body is: placing the palms of the hands together on the cheeks, pressing the elbows against the thighs, squatting down, lowering the head, and contracting the smile. Reciting 'My mother, my mother' is the wheel of speech. Similarly, for the pretas (hungry ghosts), those with external obscurations cannot even see food and drink with their own eyes for many years, and even if they see it, it turns into pus, blood, vomit, flames, etc., and cannot be eaten. Those with internal obscurations have a belly as large as a valley, a mouth as small as a needle's eye, a throat as thin as a reed, and limbs as thin as reeds, so food cannot enter the mouth, and even if it enters, it cannot pass through the throat, and when the belly is full, the limbs cannot support the body, etc., there is immeasurable suffering. The food and drink themselves become obstacles, turning into vomit, flames, burning iron balls, and ashes when eating and drinking, suffering, focusing on this as before, and cultivating compassion. For the beings living in the animal realm, there is unimaginable suffering. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He said that even for those who see with their own eyes, they should put their hands into their stomachs before they die; among birds and beasts, they eat each other before the other dies; in the autumn harvest season, slaughtering livestock and sheep; 1-256 and the Hor (referring to Mongols or other nomadic peoples) slaughtering livestock; having to bear unbearable weight; having to do unwilling farming; in addition, there are countless sufferings such as foolishness, ignorance, etc. One should contemplate these and cultivate compassion as before. For humans, there are also the sufferings of birth, old age, sickness, and death; seeking but not finding; unable to protect what has been obtained; the suffering of separation from loved ones; the suffering of encountering hatred; and those unpleasant harsh words, etc., for those inevitable deaths of children, husbands, wives, friends, officials, etc., there are countless sufferings; in addition, all actions in this life are evil, not a moment of good thought arises, immediately after death falling into evil realms, with nowhere to go, for these, one should generate the thought 'How pitiful, how pitiful,' and cultivate as before. For the Asuras (non-gods), one should think that they have countless sufferings of fighting, killing, and death. For the gods, there are also countless sufferings of death omens, and the suffering of losing companions, and some gods have only a small amount of entertainment, and no other enjoyment, etc., there are countless sufferings. One should especially contemplate these and cultivate compassion as before. 1-257 Regarding their lifespan and body size, one should understand as explained in the Abhidharma. In short, these beings are all kind mothers, thinking that these kind mothers are suffering such pain, how pitiful! May these mothers of mine, whose eyes of wisdom are blind, whose feet of virtue are lame, who are separated from the guidance of the Guru, who are separated from good companions who lead to virtue, may they be free from suffering, one should cultivate with tears of sorrow. Introduction to the two minds of aspiration and application. The fifth part is divided into two points, first is the aspiration mind: No matter if one's own body becomes sick or feels unwell, at this time one should think, may all the sufferings of all sentient beings ripen on my discomfort, may all the sufferings of all sentient beings ripen on me, may sentient beings not even hear the sound of suffering. In addition, for the happiness, joy, increase of virtue, ability to guide the mind towards virtue, and the complete favorable conditions for practicing Dharma that arise from one's own body, speech, and mind, all should be regarded as no different from the happiness and virtue of the Buddha. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
