特别地,有三位喇嘛宣讲菩提心:慈氏瑜伽士、达玛rakshita(梵文,Dharmarakṣita,护法)和金洲大师。

Mind Training Collection LJ23: The Eight Verses on Mind Training 1-219 The Eight Verses on Mind Training First, Mind Training Based on Food The Eight Verses on Mind Training Homage to the Great Vehicle's virtuous spiritual friends! In general, Lord Atisha had seventy-two lamas from whom he heard tantras and prajnaparamita. In particular, there were three lamas who taught the mind of enlightenment: the Yogi of Maitreya, Dharmarakshita, and Serlingpa. It is said that Atisha's respect for Serlingpa had its reasons: other lamas did not have stupas, while Serlingpa had a stupa with a silver umbrella; other lamas did not have monthly offerings, while Serlingpa had monthly offerings; upon hearing the names of other lamas, one would merely bring their palms together at their chest, while upon hearing the name of the incomparable Serlingpa, one would bring their palms together at the crown of their head; when remembering other lamas, tears would not flow, while merely remembering Serlingpa, tears would flow. Someone asked Atisha, 'You have so many lamas, why do you respect Serlingpa so much?' Atisha replied, 'The mind of enlightenment that exchanges self and others did not arise from anyone other than Serlingpa.' If we trace the lineage of Serlingpa, it is: the Perfectly Complete Buddha, Lord Maitreya, Asanga, Vasubandhu, Arya Vimuktisena, Bhikshu Vimuktisena, He Superior Sena, He Vinaya Sena, Abbot Samyagdarshi, Simhabhadra, Ratnamati, Serlingpa, Lord Atisha, Geshe Dromtonpa, especially to the three brothers, particularly to the one with eyes, then to Langtangpa and Shapogangpa, Langtangpa then to Zhangzhung and Lugur, these two later to Jowo (Atisha), Jowo to Lungtangpa Khenpo Rinpoche, then to Abbot Drakton Sherab Rinchen, Lord of the Doctrine, Abbot Zhonnu Samten, then to Buddharatna, then to Kirtishila, then to He with the Name of Victory, then to Punyaratna, then to Zhonnu Gyalchok. Up to here is the order of the lineage of lamas, it is said that they all attained accomplishment through relying on this Dharma, and special realizations arose. In general, the mind training of the Great Vehicle is taught in all the Tripitaka, especially in the chapter on meditation in the Bodhisattvacharyavatara: 'Recognizing that I am full of faults and others are like an ocean of good qualities, I will completely abandon self-grasping and accept others.'

Should practice (exchanging self and others).' Thus it is said. In general, the meaning of these verses is that the root cause of wandering in samsara is the eighty-four thousand afflictions. If these afflictions are summarized, there are six. The root affliction or the twenty near afflictions, the root of which is self-grasping. Because there is nothing that inherently exists, but we grasp it as 'I', and therefore argue endlessly. The virtuous deeds done in this life turn into evil deeds because of self-grasping; the evil deeds done cause suffering because of self-grasping. This is all because of arguing with oneself. If self-grasping is not abandoned from now on, one will continue to wander in samsara like this, and suffer in the three times of past, present, and future. Therefore, do not doubt that this self-cherishing demon is 'I'. Everything is because of arguing with self-grasping. There is nothing that is seen, heard, or thought that is not put into action. Because one is already accustomed to samsara, there is nothing to be attached to for long, so one must abandon all the good things one possesses now. One should think of giving to Bodhisattvas, giving for the benefit of oneself and others, relaxing, letting go, abandoning, destroying, destroying, abandoning. One should not abandon all sentient beings. Because all sentient beings are loving parents, one should bear the sins of sentient beings in the causal stage, and the suffering in the resultant stage, just like scraping dirt off leather with a knife, and then visualize these sins and suffering maturing on oneself. Visualize one's own happiness and virtuous deeds maturing on sentient beings. Practice this repeatedly. One should also joyfully accept the roots of virtue of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and visualize these roots of virtue maturing on sentient beings. It is said that this is one of the meanings of the Mahayana mind training. Khenpo said that the so-called mind training is to belittle oneself and respect sentient beings. Belittling oneself is because the demon that cherishes the self is what has caused us to suffer from beginningless time, so one must destroy this root. One must deeply understand its meaning. Practicing respecting sentient beings is not abandoning all sentient beings in the three realms of samsara. Because all sentient beings are loving parents, one should practice respecting sentient beings. One should not spare the efforts of body, speech, and mind, and benefit sentient beings. The following is about mind training that relies on food as an aid. If one wants to practice the teachings of Geshe Tonpa, in order to allow the patron to complete the accumulation of merit, or in order to digest the food offered by others, one must rely on food to practice mind training. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
