When practiced by the wise, all unwanted things are eliminated, Because it is the source of all desires, it should be gladly accepted. By accepting such adversities, if Bodhisattvas do not wear armor, There is no possibility of happiness for sentient beings in Samsara. Therefore, unwanted things should be gladly accepted. This is from the biography of the Great Sage, It is the Dharma to be learned by the virtuous, It is the path to be entered by the brave, The second chapter is 'Extracting the Essence of Poison'. Chapter Three: Extracting the Essence of Poison In the forest of potent poison, Where peacocks roam—I prostrate to the venerable Lord of Death! The intelligent one who, six times day and night, Examines and analyzes the general and specific faults of Samsara, Becomes extremely frightened and takes, And protects the vows of individual liberation. However, when relying on the vows of self-liberation, Until one attains enlightenment, These beings are regarded as fathers and mothers, And vows to benefit them are taken. When relying on aspiration and action with a mind of loving-kindness, Even if one is in the suffering forest of Samsara, One does not mind suffering at all; for the sake of others, One should practice diligently, even at the cost of one's life. At that time, when experiencing countless wicked beings, And endless wrongdoings, one should abandon life as if it were a dream or illusion, Examine the nature of reality and contemplate the realm of Dharma. Thus, when the absence of inherent existence and appearance is realized, One should generate even greater courage and not mind any fear, Without thinking about anything or focusing on anything, One spontaneously accomplishes the benefit of others. When bearing the burden of such practice, The dark side becomes extremely unbearable, When clouds of obstacles gather in the middle, They are scattered by the wind of mantras in the pure sky. When the sound of the fierce mantra 'Hūṃ' (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) is proclaimed, The pride of the wrathful deity may arise, But in the city of the illusory aggregates, Know that sound is like an emanation's song. Everything is a manifestation of one's own mind, Without any fixed identity, like the consciousness of an emanation, Since it never existed from the beginning, return it to its own place. See the realm of Dharma and be liberated into truth. No matter how enemies or demons arise, Do not mind them at all, and do not retreat in general, Trample the thoughts of attachment and aversion towards oneself and others underfoot. View the wrathful deities appearing in memory as the Lord of Death. At that time, without any doubt, Gather all beings, fathers and mothers, Into the mandala of compassion without near or far. Protect them with the two truths without partiality. Thus, become accustomed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a description of the practice of being able to endure. If you do like this, the Buddha (དཀོན་མཆོག་,Konchok, Sanskrit: Ratna, Three Jewels) will break into a smile. For people like this, the Dharma protectors will naturally gather around. May all you sons of the Buddha know about the practice of having patience! Shamelessly, I criticize the Dharma, Thinking about the Dharma without restraint, looking at it with disgust. This is also the practice of the hero entering the Dharma, This is the third chapter, the essence of poison. Chapter Four: The Essence of Poison In the poisonous forest, the peacock roams freely. I prostrate to the messenger of the venerable Yama! Like Ānanda (ཉེ་བར་འཁོར,Nye-war Khor, Sanskrit: Ānanda, Joyful) reaching the ultimate of monasticism, Like a tamed horse, being mindful and beautiful, If you do not lead your parents to the path of enlightenment, Then you will trample your own liberation underfoot. If you are skilled in the fields of knowledge, gaining the power of the wise, And the beautiful fame makes all fools happy, If you do not take the great burden of the teachings upon your shoulders, Then you should be discarded like a madman beating a drum. If you are revered by all like a lama, But you do not bear the great burden of the teachings, And you only do what you want, Then you should be criticized by the noble ones. If you are praised by all like a virtuous person, But in the forest of wrong views, your self-grasping is confused, You are as frightening as a tigress eating her own cub, You should be killed by the Dharma protectors. If you wear the robes and are peaceful and beautiful, But your mind is as wicked as a cat, This incurable hypocrite, Should be thrown into the mouth of the Ḍākinīs. Even if you sit as the leader of ninety million, But like Vishnu (ཁྱབ་འཇུག,Khyapjuk, Sanskrit: Viṣṇu, All-pervading), you have not tamed your own mind, And the rays of attachment and hatred radiate in all directions, You should be thrown into the mouth of Yama's messenger. Although you smile and rule everything with sweetness, You cause your followers to increase their defilements, This person who is known as the leader of the faithless, Should be abandoned in the nest of discipline. Although you have left home and entered the Dharma, You do endless things like a householder, And you disregard everything that should and should not be done, You should be cursed by the hermits. Wearing the robes but not keeping the vows, Letting your mind wander in the activities of desire, Slandering the holy ones, You should be killed by the Ḍākinīs. Taking the form of a holy person for the sake of gain, Enjoying sensual pleasures like dogs and pigs, Deceiving all the vows you have taken, You should be thrown into the fire by Vajradhara (རྡོ་རྗེ་འཛིན་པ,Dorje Dzinpa, Sanskrit: Vajradhara, Holder of the Vajra). Speaking of the Mahāyāna but despising cause and effect, Deceiving the assembly with the nonsense of emptiness, Letting evil spirits possess you, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
