At that time, I cultivated a special compassion, and all the adverse winds subsided, and I saw six great hailstones hanging in the sky. However, the Makara blocked the way, and the great wind shook the sea, and the ship trembled, swayed, sometimes carried into the sky, and sometimes plunged into the depths of the sea, like a great flag moved by the wind. Although four angry boulders were thrown into the depths of the sea, there was a roaring sound like four great drums being beaten from the four directions, along with crashing sounds, flashes of light, and great dry lightning, causing all the attendants to be very frightened and trembling. Again, I remained in the Samadhi of compassion, and the Paṇḍita Bodhisattva prayed to the Lama: ‘Awake, awake, compassionate Lama! You have no equal on this earth. Now, the fear and destruction caused by the dark forces, please pacify with your great compassion! If you can liberate all beings from the ocean of existence, now the dark forces are creating obstacles here. Alas! The storm rages and the thunder fiercely blazes. The great Makara fish causes fear in front. Venerable one, please protect us from this fear! The ocean is stirred by the wind, and the waves soar into the sky. Striking Mount Meru, Mount Meru split into pieces, revealing the golden foundation beneath Mount Meru. The seawater flowed backward, churning in boiling blood, devouring makaras, leaving only white bones. Suddenly, a thin, blue youth appeared in the boat. He prostrated and joined his palms, saying: 'King of Wrath, you have great power! You are compassionate, the sole protector of beings! I have committed faults due to fear, now please save me with your compassion!'
