The venerable one said that just by distinguishing slight differences in things, endless differences arise. These assertions explained in 'Analysis of Reasoning' are mentioned merely as a collection of the treasures of reasoning. Thinking that it would be easy to understand, I have stated it with a few examples, not because I have not seen the original Indian texts. Therefore, the wise should examine this. Therefore, it is sufficient to know only what is said in the 'Treasures of Reasoning,' but these should be thoroughly understood as explained in the commentaries, and more broadly, it should be learned from Dignāga's Nyāyamukha and Vaiśeṣika-prakaraṇa. I have not heard the teachings from the teacher, nor have I found pure texts, and I am influenced by laziness, so may the wise forgive my faults. If anyone can understand even a little of this profound and difficult-to-fathom path of reasoning, that is due to my good explanation. It should be understood in this way. Some people have not studied the scriptures well, but are filled with arrogance about their partial understanding, proclaiming themselves to be wise, they do not even know the names of my hundred works. Īśvara, who is proficient in a hundred works! Who can understand the secret words of reasoning within it? Then, in debate, sitting on a lion throne, what is there to fear? My wisdom is as vast as the great ocean, with endless good explanations possessing eight branches, but for those who are satisfied with turbid water, what is the use of saying more? Emerged from the sky of pure hundred works, shining with thousands of rays of writing, explaining, and debating, crushing the power of bad opponents like billions of stars, Īśvara explained this adornment of debate. Here, whatever pure virtue is created, may it immediately lead all these miserable beings who are drowning in the endless ocean of samsara to the shore of peace. May I, from now on, in all lifetimes, never be separated from the Three Jewels (refuge), and be embraced by the excellent spiritual friend, and may my body, speech, and mind be used solely for the benefit of others. The treatise 'Adornment of Debate' is completed. May it be auspicious! Mangala kuru! Dirgha Ayu! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
