Batu (a name) rejoiced and sang the Vajra Song: The sun and moon all rise from the outside, The sun and moon of the mind rise from within. The external sun and moon have rising and setting, The internal sun and moon have no rising and setting. All steeds gallop on the plain, The steed of realization gallops in the mind. The plain's steed has death and end, The mind's steed has no death and end. All food is a mouthful, The yogi's food is meditation. A mouthful of food has an end, The food of meditation has no end. All rivers flow downwards, The river of wisdom flows upwards. External water has dryness, The water of wisdom has no dryness. Sentient beings grasp at self, Self-grasping and conceptualization are the cause of samsara. Dharika Pa (a name) abandoned self-grasping, Abandoning, yet abandoning, seeking, yet seeking. Having sung the Vajra Song, he ran fearlessly to the charnel ground. Namo Guru! At Southern Auspicious Mountain, when the great Brahmin Saraha empowered the Victor Maitripa, he sang the Doha Vajra Song: First, the View Song that realizes the nature of reality, the Practice Song that meditates without straying from it, the Conduct Song that acts without separating from it, and finally, the Fruit Song that is perfected, these four. Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं हुं हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽 吽 吽)! Samsara and Nirvana are inseparable, abiding like water and waves. Buddhas and sentient beings are non-dual, like the difference when poison is empowered by mantra. All things are without inherent existence, like all waters entering the ocean having a salty taste. The mind that desires to abandon existence and non-existence abides like the tracks of birds in the sky. Even the thick darkness of a thousand years is illuminated by the arising of a single lamp. Even the dense habitual patterns of samsara are pacified in a single instant of realizing one's own mind. The yogi who unites skillful means and wisdom pacifies the turbulent waves of samsara. Like a jewel placed in muddy water, it is pervasive, formless, and without coming or going. As soon as the realization of Mahamudra arises, it is pervasive and vast like the sky. Clear and non-conceptual like the open sky, appearing but without inherent existence like the moon in water. Clear like a rainbow, yet without substance, unspeakable like the bliss of youth. Not abiding in any direction, infinite, and free from all. Not stained by any direction, without the defilement of anything. Like a crystal egg, pure and without defilement like a lotus seed. A mind without hope or fear is like a lion. Like a river, effortlessly, it is the mind of great bliss. Like the light of the sun and moon, it is free from all directions. Ema! This self-arisen wisdom is wondrous! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

O yogi, rest in the innate state! Do not doubt this in any way. The unmade nature itself is the Dharmakaya (chos kyi sku), The faults of artificiality will not allow you to see the noble path. Therefore, see the elephant of the mind as free. All of the three realms (srid gsum) are liberated from the beginning, There is no need to affirm or negate this. If you realize this, it is the essence of yoga. The Vajra Song of Establishing the View. In general, in this time, it is important to have one thing that does not change. If you want to meditate on the innate nature (gnas lugs), You do not need to calculate dates, planets, or constellations. The time to remember the King of Time (dus kyi rgyal po) is now. You do not need to deliberately search for a secluded monastery. This very body is the best of mountains and monasteries. You do not need to deliberately abandon distractions, Because knowing that all are mind, they become friends. Like fire spreading in a forest, the roots are burned as they are. Do not cut off boundaries or build high walls, To be silent is the best of boundaries. Like cotton or wool, release and let it be. Let go of activities and do not establish a basis for the mind. Do not deliberately suppress awareness (rig pa), let it be free. If dullness or excitement arise, look at them themselves. If desire arises, know that it is a demon (bdud). Gradually abandon actions that harm the mind. In walking, moving, sleeping, and sitting, let everything be relaxed. The mind that is left unmade is the Buddha. Because the root of all thoughts (rnam rtog) is the mind, Since there is no mind, there are no thoughts. When the spontaneously accomplished mind arises, It is impossible for a yogi to have desire. When such an experience arises, how happy the mind is! When a path without planetary influence arises in the lineage, It is impossible for a yogi to have partiality. How delightful is the knowledge without partiality! When the unmade arises in the lineage, It is impossible for a yogi to have acceptance or rejection. How joyful it is when there is no affirmation, negation, abandonment, or acceptance! When the unequaled Bodhicitta (byang chub sems) arises in the lineage, It is impossible for a yogi to have self and other. How balanced it is when self and other are equal! Leave all three realms (srid gsum) in the state of being liberated from the beginning. The Vajra Song of Establishing Meditation. In general, when meditating, it is important not to be attached to experience. Ema! If you have mindfulness (bag dang ldan na), it is the best of conduct. Do not be unmindful (bag med), rely on mindfulness and awareness (dran dang shes bzhin). Whatever you do, do not hold it as a measure, Whatever you do, be like a child. Keep the unmade conduct like a young child. Do not suppress your nature, let it go like a madman. Act like a lion without fear. Do not hesitate... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
