A Mirror of Crystal, Clear and Unstained, Illuminating All Practices and Customs of Offering Inner Contents to Sacred Objects. A Mirror of Crystal, Clear and Unstained, Illuminating All Practices and Customs of Offering Inner Contents to Sacred Objects. This is the treatise called "A Mirror of Crystal, Clear and Unstained, Illuminating All Practices and Customs of Offering Inner Contents to Sacred Objects." Namo Ratna Trayaya (藏文, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanized, Literal Chinese meaning). Homage to the Three Jewels and the wondrous sacred objects related to them! Utterly destroying the darkness of the three realms, They are the jewels on the crowns of gods and beings, Taking as fields of merit in all lifetimes. The method of transforming supreme sacred objects into the essence of relics, Although many learned scholars of the snowy lands have elucidated it based on tantras and treatises, In order to make it easy for those of inferior intellect like myself to enter without confusion, I open this door. Among them, there are five methods for transforming sacred objects that arise from the activities of the Buddha and become representatives of the Three Jewels into the essence of relics: the sacred object to be relied upon, the master who relies upon it, the source from which it comes, the manner of practice, and the benefits of practicing in this way. First, the venerable Marme Dze (Glorious Dipamkara) said: Statues, scriptures, stupas, etc., If they arise from the blessings of the Buddha's emanations, otherwise they will not appear. If one understands this and has great faith, then there is no need for consecration. As it is said, among the objects of the Three Jewels, what is relevant here are statues and stupas. Furthermore, it is essential that the materials are not defiled by the patron's desire for fame and profit, or by stinginess, and that the craftsman is free from the faults of strong afflictions. Whether the sacred object is large or small, it is crucial that it conforms to the dimensions described in the Tibetan and Chinese scriptures. Secondly, The one who offers the inner contents, the best is a fully ordained monk who is a vajra holder and possesses the ten qualities, the intermediate is a novice monk, the lowest is a layperson, but they must have taken the vows of purification. In any case, they must possess vows, be skilled in practice, avoid meat, alcohol, garlic, onions, etc., abide in pure conduct, not be frivolous, and be patient and diligent. Thirdly, For those who have unwavering faith, as the above quotation states, merely becoming an object of the Three Jewels, without the need for inner contents or consecration, can bring their blessings. However, in order to make it a common field of merit for beings...

Regarding the principle that practice should have relics as its essence, the Sutra states: "Relics as small as mustard seeds are placed inside stupas as small as buckthorn berries, with a life-supporting pole as thin as a needle inserted, and covered with a canopy as small as a juniper leaf, as an example." The Tantra states: "In the presence of a stupa containing relics, accomplishment is achieved through the mantra of the Sugata." And so on, there are many occurrences. The Sutra Requested by Drangsong also states: "Sugata stupas with the essence of dependent origination should always be erected to purify sins. To images or stupas containing relics, offer praise, garlands, incense, and lamps." It is said that a stupa is a worthy object of offering, or the sound of 'Tsai' (Sanskrit: चै, Romanization: cai, literal meaning: color) and 'Tya' (Sanskrit: त्य, Romanization: tya, literal meaning: fold) implies accumulation and non-forgetfulness, so it can also be used for general objects of offering, as it is said: "To accumulate white dharmas, and to abandon all sins, to the Tathagata Bhagavan, it is definitely called a stupa." So it is said. The meaning of this scripture is that 'Tsai' (Sanskrit: चै, Romanization: cai, literal meaning: color) means accumulation, and 'Tya' (Sanskrit: त्य, Romanization: tya, literal meaning: fold) is an abbreviation for the sound of abandonment. Here, the phrase "image or" directly indicates the body image, like consciousness entering the human body, becoming an inanimate body image, and the relics placed in the stupa, so these also become special fields of merit. Relics are of four types: Dharmakaya relics, body relics, hair relics, and mustard seed-like relics, which were previously famous in Tibet. These are respectively identified as Dharani mantras, the ashes of supreme beings, parts such as hair and nails, and the Sharira (Sanskrit: शरीर, Romanization: śarīra, literal meaning: body) of the Buddha as the main object, known as the increasing ashes. The newly translated Ornament of Bodhicitta in China Detailed Explanation of the Dharani Ritual states: "There are five types of relics: Dharmakaya relics, Tathagata body relics, hair relics, external Dharma relics, and mustard seed-sized relics. Among them, Dharmakaya relics are represented by Tsatsa stupas, and Dharma relics are identified as Dharani mantras and scriptures. The other three are the same as before. This method is good in both meaning and words, and is the proof of scripture and reason."
