Warmth and consciousness are the basis or cause of continuous existence, depending on the ripening of karma, and the name is also called the life force, which is considered to be an impermanent action. Second, for example, the force of an arrow shot, or the impetus of planting a seed, as long as it falls to the ground and continues until the action of ripening the fruit is accomplished, just as the action of ripening is taking place, for as long as the karma is propelled, so long is the nature of living and existing. Third, there are two: life and breath. First, as it says in the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel: "At the time of the action of living, Ayus, that is, from I arises." Just as "Us," just as I is the root of action, adding Us, etc., like Izha, Ayus is established, meaning the action of going at the time of living, that is, the meaning of the time of life.

For the sake of growth, it is prah (藏文), which is alas gha (藏文). Alternatively, it is said that a can be added to las. The so-called "life" is the great wind, which flows from the mouth and nose. This refers to the combination with the heart wind, and is not a synonym for life-sustaining wind (srog rlung). The sound of prah (藏文) is extreme movement, that is, constant movement inside and outside, or movement during the period of survival, referring to life or heart wind. It is not just a special case of holding life-sustaining wind (srog 'dzin). Fourth, in the Abhidharma, it is said: "What is the life faculty? It is the life of the three realms." Therefore, there is no difference in essence, but from the difference in appearance, or from the difference between the supported and the supporter, it can be divided into three types: Sutra tradition, mantra tradition, and medical science. The first type is divided into two types: appearance and support. The first is that the body formed by previous karma, the length of its life, the continuation of life is in harmony with it, this is the life-formation (tshe'i 'du byed); the time during which the karma or behavior done now, its fruit continues to exist, is the life-formation (srog gi 'du byed). In the sutra, the World Honored One said: "Bless the life-formation and abandon the life-span formation." This is very clear, this is the view of the Sutra tradition. The second is that the support of life is warmth and consciousness, and the support of warmth and consciousness is also life, so they exist in mutual dependence, so warmth and consciousness are the two supports of life. From the perspective of mind and intention, there is no difference. Because mind, intention, and consciousness have the same meaning. Second, according to the view of the mantra tradition, the Stainless Light Sutra says: "Abiding the life-wind in the central channel can bestow life and health." There are three here: channels, winds, and bindus. The first, the sutra says: "The bodhicitta transforms into a sprout, and in the various positions of the heart, it becomes the support of the ten kinds of channels, life and other winds, these channels are very subtle, only as thin as a hair." Therefore, in terms of a person with six elements, between the six chakras, with its own half and thirteen measures, it is full of the support of the alaya consciousness, the great life-wind abides in it, empty and bright like a clear sky, it is Avadhuti
