The ritual of offering and accumulating purification to the Buddha and the eight close sons and entourage in a single mandala, called "The Path Entering the Delight of the Princes." The ritual of offering and accumulating purification to the Buddha and the eight close sons and entourage in a single mandala, called "The Path Entering the Delight of the Princes" is present. Among the constellations of the three times gone, The moon-like circle of intention is beautifully adorned, To the chief of the Shakyas and the eight close sons, I praise and prostrate with respectful mind a hundred times. Although widely known, this method is not known, Although there is no difference, it has many special qualities, That meaning which many eloquent speakers have not spoken, I will only express a little with faith. Also, in the sutra called "The Eighth Mandala of the Noble Ones": Therefore, with a heavy mixture of new, Make a square and complete mandala. In common with all sentient beings, Whatever Buddhas have passed, And whatever will come in the future, Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, And whatever self-enlightened ones there are, I dedicate them all to them. Then around the mandala, The supreme mandalas should be made, Lokeshvara and Maitreya, The Supreme Sage Thubpa Namkha, Kuntuzangpo Lodan and the Lord of Secrets, And Manjushri who has become a youth, Remover of all obscurations, And likewise the Essence of Earth, For their sake, eight mandalas should be made. And so on, and as it is said with the special needs, Thus the Tathagata and his close sons are offered in one mandala, In order to accomplish the limitless doors of accumulating, purifying, and increasing the roots of virtue of the Great Vehicle, there are two: The basis and the offerings to be assembled, The order of the practice ritual. The first is: In a clean and pleasing dwelling, Having swept away the dust and adorned it with ornaments and arrangements, In the middle, in front of the supports of body, speech, and mind, both common and special, on a square platform, in the center and eight directions smeared with five kinds of grains and fragrant incense, place one precious mandala each, the main entourage.

For arranging the mandala, draw eight-petaled lotuses with colored powders, placing a bouquet of flowers in the center of each. In the center, place an image of Shakyamuni Buddha. On the other eight lotuses, place statues or images of the close disciples, according to what is available. Around the perimeter, arrange common offerings such as flowers, each in the amount of one hundred and eight. Special offerings consist of nine mandalas, each with nine articles of enjoyment, which is the elaborate arrangement. If using a medium approach, arrange only the special offerings without the common offerings. If one is unable to do so due to poverty, it can be simplified to one mandala, with drops of perfume and nine bouquets placed within it, and an image of the Buddha in the center. Even if there is no image, it is not a problem. Arrange one set of offerings around the perimeter, and supplement each individual offering with grains, etc., as appropriate. In any case, place vessels for offering water and foot-washing water in front, a conch filled with clean water, delicious white sweets with round decorations, a vase filled with essence, a mirror, robes, and other bathing items, as well as scattered flowers and various musical instruments. Secondly, the order of practice rituals is divided into three parts: the preparation of complete purification, the main practice of accumulation, enjoyment, and increase, and the actions after the ritual is completed. The first part is divided into two points: purifying thoughts and actions with bodhicitta, and purifying the outer and inner worlds through the four empowerments. The first point is: after bathing and cleaning well, visualize the Buddhas and their retinue as if they were in front of you, recite the verses of prostration and praise, and prostrate three times. If possible, take the Mahayana sojong vows and recite the mantra of pure precepts. In any case, focus on the meaning of what is recited: By whatever arises dependently, there is no cessation, no birth, no cutting off, no permanence, no coming, no going, no difference, not one meaning, the pacification of all elaboration, taught as peace, to those noble ones, the complete Buddhas, I prostrate. And: Whatever is born from conditions is unborn, there is no nature of birth in it, therefore whatever depends on conditions is said to be emptiness, whoever knows emptiness is diligent. Thus, to the best of one's ability, rest the mind in the samadhi of wisdom, emptiness, and freedom from elaboration. After rising from samadhi, look with great compassion pervading all sentient beings.
