One should strive to adopt methods to destroy the sins that cause obstacles and the obstructing evil spirits. Since external evil spirits and obstacles arise from the power of internal karma, afflictions, and sins, one should first aim to purify sins and contemplate in this way: All the sins you have accumulated from beginningless samsara until now exist in the form of a black seed syllable པྃ (Tibetan: པྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: प, Sanskrit Romanization: pam, Chinese literal meaning: Bang) in your heart. Visualize that the light of the blazing tummo fire from the navel chakra drives them away, and they dissolve into the sesame seeds in front of you from your right nostril in the form of sin. If you wish, you can have the disciples blow air into the sesame seeds from their right nostrils. Cleanse with fire and amrita, purify with svabhava. From emptiness, in the midst of the burning flames, the wrathful Vajra Dakini, dark blue-black in color, holding a vajra and bell, complete with wrathful ornaments and expressions, with her left leg extended, residing on a lotus sun disc, her face extremely open. Visualize that the sesame seeds in front of you have become the essence of sin, and when the vajra takes them and throws them into the fire and water, they are offered to the mouth of the Vajra Dakini, and thrown into the great ocean of dharmata. Thus, the vajra takes the sesame seeds with the right and left fists, and throws them into the fire and water in a crossed manner. Then the teacher recites: Om Vajra Daka Kha Kha Khahi Khahi Sarva Papam Dahana Bhasmin Kuru Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཌཱ་ཀ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི། སརྦ་པཱ་བཾ་ད་ཧ་ན་བྷ་སྨིན་ཀུ་རུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र डाका खः खः खाही खाही सर्व पापं दहना भस्मिन कुरु स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra ḍāka khaḥ khaḥ khāhī khāhī sarva pāpaṃ dahanā bhasmin kuru svāhā, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Dakini, Kha, Kha, Khahi, Khahi, All sins, Burn, Ashes, Do, Svaha). Then, to destroy the evil spirits, contemplate in this way: I, the Bhagavan Mother Samaya Tara Yogini, visualize as one face and eight arms, from my heart emanate countless wrathful deities holding iron hooks and ropes, transforming all the leaders of the evil spirits, the four maras, and all harmful humans and non-humans into the form of flesh-eating demons, black in color, with hair standing on end.
