Upon a lotus stamen, in the center of the moon, Rowo, the refuge and protector of gods and humans, a treasure of wisdom profound. A master of eloquence in scripture and reason, a virtuous and learned one, A supreme guide who upholds the victory banner of the Sage's teachings. In the form of the Bhagavan Amitayus, the Buddha of Limitless Life, Like a mountain of bright red padmaraga gems. Majestic and sublime, radiating glorious light, With a peaceful smile, radiant with splendor, complete with marks and signs. Holding the immortal vase of life in the mudra of equipoise, Adorned with beautiful wish-fulfilling leaves and flowers. Clad in various brocades, upper and lower garments, With crown, earrings, necklaces, bangles, and so forth. Precious jewels and a golden net are suspended, With two feet unmoving, seated in the vajra posture. From his body emanate immeasurable wisdom and illusory displays, His voice proclaims the celestial melody, the Dharma sound of the Great Vehicle. His mind is deep, peaceful, free from elaboration, luminous, The very essence of all Buddhas of all directions and times. Complete with the ocean of the Three Roots and Dharma protectors, Whoever with devotion makes the Buddha the object of their mind, Before them, he vividly and clearly abides. From the beginning, inseparable from vows and wisdom, spontaneously accomplished. May I and all beings emanate bodies as numerous as atoms, And utter a melodious song that gathers the ocean of qualities. With devotion and faith, having no refuge other than you, I prostrate with body, speech, and mind most respectfully. Accomplished through the aspirations of the Buddhas and their heirs, The wondrous array, the wealth of gods and humans, And my body, possessions, and roots of virtue, I offer, transforming them into clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings. From beginningless time, under the sway of delusion and other's power, Having become the cause of karma and afflictions, the cycle of samsara, All sins, obscurations, faults, downfalls, and habitual tendencies, I confess with intense remorse, and vow to restrain myself in the future. In all realms of existence, nirvana, and beyond, Gathered by that which is tainted and untainted, All pure virtuous roots, however many there may be, I rejoice, like the lotus of Ksitigarbha opening in all directions. The secret mantra for practicing the common three vehicles, The supreme wheel of Dharma, profound and vast. Turning in accordance with the capacity of those to be tamed, I pray that the activity of emptying samsara will be accomplished to the end. From the beginning, the power of the aspiration and vow of Bodhicitta, Upon the feet of miraculous power that never falter, Relying on this, until this great eon is not empty, I pray that the three secrets will remain unchanging. Through the power of dedicating to the unlocalized great Bodhi the virtues of all beings, self and others, gathered at the three times, with the pure mind of the three circles, May I quickly attain the state of the all-pervading master, the Lama. Thus, visualizing the field of merit, and with the essence of accumulation and purification, preceded by the seven branches, pray extensively or concisely as appropriate. In brief: Lord of wisdom, treasure of scriptures and logic, Embodiment of compassion, supreme among the wise and virtuous, Master of all secrets, holder of the victory banner of the Buddha's teachings, I pray to Lama Tsepakme (Amitayus). Recite the number as appropriate. And recite: Om Guru Ayurjnana Amaraṇi Jīvanti Ye Svaha. Finally: Lama Tsepakme, Lord of Compassion, King of Dharma, refuge of beings vast as space, Source of all benefit and happiness, Precious One, I pray to you, grant your blessings! From this life to all future lives, May I never be separated, and accomplish pleasing service, May vows be unbreakable, and mind and heart become one, May activities spread throughout the three realms of existence! May the Lamas, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas fulfill their intentions, May all beings vast as space be led to supreme liberation, May the two benefits, self and others, reach their end without hindrance, May the complete Buddhahood of the three Kayas be realized! Through the power of praying in this way, and stirring the mind-stream, May the Lamas and Buddhas, with love, think of us, From the three places, rays of white, red, and blue light, Shine forth in sequence and simultaneously, and may we receive the four empowerments, Purify the four obscurations, and have power to meditate on the four paths, May we be fortunate to manifest the four Kayas, May the Lama, with great joy, dissolve into light, And dissolve into ourselves, so that the three doors, body, speech, and mind, Become one taste with the undifferentiated great wisdom. By this virtue, may all sentient beings, including myself, Clear away the darkness of delusion and increase the light of wisdom, Through the play of the wheel of inexhaustible adornment, May we fulfill the intention of the glorious Lama. Thus, as requested by the learned Drak Yab Dezur Kachu Lobsang Norbu, this was done by Dusum Pa Lodro Thaye at the great Dharma college of Dzongsar Trashi Lhatse. May virtue and goodness increase! The Yoga of the Three Family Lamas, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel of the Fortunate.
