When holding elaborate ceremonies such as the Great Gathering of Longchen Rabjam, the eighteenth day of the Victorious Month (རྒྱལ་ཟླ།), and offerings for the guru's anniversaries, the residence should be thoroughly cleaned and adorned with whatever decorations are available. In front of the representations of the guru and the Three Jewels, a clean platform should be set up with a mandala offering consisting of five heaps or five piles. Around it, water, double offerings, a hundred offerings, etc., should be arranged as much as possible, or simply four offerings in the four directions, arranged clockwise. Prepare the mandala for offerings, conch shells, flowers, and if desired, the implements for a feast gathering. For daily yoga or when offerings are limited, one mandala and one offering can represent everything, relying on whatever is available. For yogis without material possessions, accomplishment should be achieved through samadhi alone. First, taking refuge: Although all phenomena are primordially enlightened as buddhas, sentient beings wander in samsara due to not realizing this, how pitiful. May all of them be placed on the ground of complete enlightenment. In the space of the sky, filling the sky, are the assemblies of gurus, yidams, and dakinis, as well as the Buddhas, Dharma, and noble Sangha. I and all beings respectfully take refuge. Recite this three times. And, all sentient beings equal to the sky, take refuge in the guru! Take refuge in the Buddha! Take refuge in the Dharma! Take refuge in the Sangha! After reciting this three times, take refuge in the guru, the Dharmakaya of the Buddha! Take refuge in the guru, the Sambhogakaya! Take refuge in the guru, the Nirmanakaya in various forms! Take refuge in the guru, the body of manifest enlightenment! Take refuge in the guru, the immutable Vajra body! Take refuge in the kind root guru! Take refuge in the deities of the yidam mandala! Take refuge in the ocean of dakinis and oath-bound protectors! Please bless to purify negative karma and obscurations! Please bless to pacify adverse conditions and obstacles! Please bless to directly see the nature of reality! Please bless to increase experiential insights! Please bless to bring awareness to its full measure! Please bless to exhaust phenomena into their ultimate reality! Recite thus. Meditate on the four immeasurables of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. My yoga practice is, as stated in the Guhyagarbha Tantra: In the center of space, in the clear expanse, within the sun and moon, visualize the wisdom deity standing majestically. All the mandalas of the victorious ones, without exception,

Will meditate. Because of this, placing the mind on the essence of the unarisen self-mind. This rootless mind essence, Is the root of all dharmas. Mind essence is the nature of letters, Letters are wish-fulfilling jewel clouds. Ah is of emptiness and non-emptiness, The middle way is also not an object. Everything is just a name, all Buddhas, Abide in the string of letters. By reciting Ah Ah Ah, All dharmas In the state of non-one and many, from the expanse of space, in the center without cloud cover. In the center where the sun and moon radiate light, the primordial Buddha parents are non-dual. With the mudra of equal abiding, the nature of the Dharmakaya, without ornaments and attire. From the enclosure of five-colored rays and the center of the tent, in the light of the stacked pavilions, pervading the entire expanse of space, meditate that all phenomena burn into light. Recite Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: perfection), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: arising), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: subjugation), Ah Ah Ah, as much as possible, and finally abide in the state of space. Therefore, one will meditate on all the mandalas of the Buddhas, because one has meditated on the source of all mandalas. From that state, instantly visualize appearing as a deity, that is: All outer and inner dharmas are in the nature of great equality, In the Vajra realm, from the beginning, there is no birth. From the state of spontaneously perfect great perfection, On top of a white lotus and the moon, oneself is Vajrasattva, body color white, one face, two arms. The right hand holds a vajra at the heart, the left hand holds a bell at the hip. With silk garments and jewel ornaments, Sitting in vajra posture, in the hair between the eyebrows, in a bindu of five-colored light, there is a white Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: perfection). At the throat, in a bindu of five-colored light, there is a red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: arising). At the heart, in a bindu of five-colored light, there is a blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: subjugation), clearly Appear. Outer and inner, all are Akanishta pure land, Everything is in the nature of pure deities and goddesses. In the unborn, spontaneously perfect, great clear light, Self and others all naturally abide. Thus, visualize the outer world and inner beings, deities and palaces, offerings, etc., as the play of self-born, spontaneously perfect great wisdom. The support for practice is: In the sky of primordial purity, originally enlightened, In the center of spontaneously accomplished rainbow light drops, Awareness maturing into the form of the primordial head.
